[Machine] He used to recite in the supplication of Qunut, "Verily, Your punishment upon the disbelievers is inevitable, implying the lowering of the letter 'ha'."  

البيهقي:٣١٤٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي ثنا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدَةُ بْنُ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ بَعْدَ الْقِرَاءَةِ قَبْلَ الرُّكُوعِ اللهُمَّ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَلَكَ نُصَلِّي وَنَسْجُدُ وَإِلَيْكَ نَسْعَى وَنَحْفِدُ نَرْجُو رَحْمَتَكَ وَنَخْشَى عَذَابَكَ إِنَّ عَذَابَكَ بِالْكَافِرِينَ مُلْحِقٌ اللهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْتَعِينُكَ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَنُثْنِي عَلَيْكَ الْخَيْرَ وَلَا نَكْفُرُكَ وَنُؤْمِنُ بِكَ وَنَخْضَعُ لَكَ وَنَخْلَعَ مَنْ يَكْفُرُكَ كَذَا قَالَ قَبْلَ الرُّكُوعِ وَهُوَ وَإِنْ كَانَ إِسْنَادًا صَحِيحًا فَمَنْ رَوَى عَنْ عُمَرَ قُنُوتَهُ بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ أَكْثَرُ فَقَدْ رَوَاهُ أَبُو رَافِعٍ وَعُبَيْدُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ وَأَبُو عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيُّ وَزَيْدُ بْنُ وَهْبٍ وَالْعَدَدُ أَوْلَى بِالْحِفْظِ مِنَ الْوَاحِدِ وَفِي حُسْنِ سِيَاقِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ لِلْحَدِيثِ دَلَالَةٌ عَلَى حِفْظِهِ وَحِفْظِ مَنْ حَفِظَ عَنْهُ وَرُوِّينَا عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ أَنَّهُ قَنَتَ فِي الْفَجْرِ فَقَالَ اللهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْتَعِينُكَ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَرُوِّينَا عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي دُعَاءِ الْقُنُوتِ إِنَّ عَذَابَكَ بِالْكُفَّارِ مُلْحِقٌ يَعْنِي بِخَفْضِ الْحَاءِ
