[Machine] I heard Abu Hurairah saying, "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to start reciting Quran when rising from the second unit of prayer without remaining silent."  

البيهقي:٣٠٨٣ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو صَالِحِ بْنُ أَبِي طَاهِرٍ أنبأ جَدِّي يَحْيَى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْقَاضِي ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا نَهَضَ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ اسْتَفْتَحَ الْقِرَاءَةَ وَلَمْ يَسْكُتْ  

أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ فَقَالَ حُدِّثْتُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَسَّانَ وَيُونُسَ الْمُؤَدِّبِ وَغَيْرِهِمَا قَالُوا ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ فَذَكَرَهُ وَفِيهِ دَلَالَةٌ عَلَى أَنَّهُ لَا سَكْتَةَ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ قَبْلَ الْقِرَاءَةِ وَهُوَ حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ وَيُحْتَمَلُ أَنَّهُ أَرَادَ بِهِ أَنَّهُ لَا يَسْكُتُ فِي الثَّانِيَةِ كَسُكُوتِهِ فِي الْأُولَى لِلِاسْتِفْتَاحِ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
