bayhaqi:2999 – Abū ʿAlī al-Rūdhbārī > Muḥammad b. Bakr > Abū Dāwud > Musaddad > Yaḥyá > Sufyān > Yaʿlá b. ʿAṭāʾ > Jābir b. Yazīd b. al-Aswad from his father

Jabir ibn Yazid ibn al-Aswad reported on the authority of his father: I prayed behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When he finished the prayer, he would turn (his face from the direction of the Ka'bah). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 614)
