[Machine] We used to isolate ourselves during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ learned about this, he did not prohibit us from doing so.  

البيهقي:١٤٣٠٤أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ الْبَزَّارُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ثنا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ ؓ قَالَ

كُنَّا نَعْزِلُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَلَمْ يَنْهَنَا عَنْهُ
