[Machine] When Ja'far returned from Abyssinia, the Prophet ﷺ welcomed him and kissed him, and the preserved one (referring to Ja'far) was the first to be sent as a messenger.  

البيهقي:١٣٥٨١وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ الزَّاهِدُ أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ بُنْدَارٍ الصُّوفِيُّ أنبأ عَبْدَانٌ الْجَوَالِيقِيُّ ثنا خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ ثنا مُجَالِدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ

لَمَّا قَدِمَ جَعْفَرٌ مِنَ الْحَبَشَةِ اسْتَقْبَلَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَبَّلَهُ وَالْمَحْفُوظُ هُوَ الْأَوَّلُ مُرْسَلٌ
