15. Chapter
١٥۔ كِتَابُ التَّفْلِيسِ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The man is entitled to have his property returned to him when he finds it, and the sale should be followed by the one who made the sale."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الرَّجُلُ أَحَقُّ بِعَيْنِ مَالِهِ إِذَا وَجَدَهُ وَيَتَّبِعُ الْبَيْعُ مَنْ بَاعَهُ
“If a man loses something, or it is stolen from him, and he finds it in the possession of a man who bought it, then he has more right to it, and the one who bought it should ask for his money back from the one who sold it to him.' ” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2331)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا ضَاعَ لِأَحَدِكُمْ مَتَاعٌ أَوْ سُرِقَ لَهُ مَتَاعٌ فَوَجَدَهُ فِي يَدِ رَجُلٍ بِعَيْنِهِ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ وَيَرْجِعُ الْمُشْتَرِي عَلَى الْبَائِعِ بِالثَّمَنِ
