[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to a man from the Ansar and his wife, "Perform 'Umrah in Ramadan, for verily, 'Umrah in Ramadan is equivalent to Hajj." And Sufyan said once, without specifying who told him, "Perform 'Umrah, for verily, 'Umrah in it is equivalent to Hajj."  

أحمد:١٦٤٠٦حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ يُوسُفَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِرَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ وَامْرَأَتِهِ اعْتَمِرَا فِي رَمَضَانَ فَإِنَّ عُمْرَةً فِي رَمَضَانَ لَكُمَا كَحَجَّةٍ وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ مَرَّةً وَلَمْ يَقُلْحَدَّثَنِي يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُنْكَدِرِ فَإِنَّ عُمْرَةً فِيهِ كَحَجَّةٍ
