He who among you can protect himself against Fire, he should do so, even if it should be with half a date.

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَسْتَتِرَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ فَلْيَفْعَلْ

Messenger of Allah, you forbade to practise incantation, whereas I employ it for curing the sting of the scorpion, whereupon he said: He who amongst you is capable of employing it as a means to do good should do that.

كَانَ لِي خَالٌ يَرْقِي مِنَ الْعَقْرَبِ فَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الرُّقَى قَالَ فَأَتَاهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّكَ نَهَيْتَ عَنِ الرُّقَى وَأَنَا أَرْقِي مِنَ الْعَقْرَبِ فَقَالَ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَنْفَعَ أَخَاهُ فَلْيَفْعَلْ

We know an incantation which we use for curing the sting of the scorpion but you have prohibited it. They recited (the words of incantation) before him, whereupon he said: I do not see any harm (in it), so he who amongst you is competent to do good to his brother should do that.

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الرُّقَى فَجَاءَ آلُ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ كَانَتْ عِنْدَنَا رُقْيَةٌ نَرْقِي بِهَا مِنَ الْعَقْرَبِ وَإِنَّكَ نَهَيْتَ عَنِ الرُّقَى قَالَ فَعَرَضُوهَا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ مَا أَرَى بَأْسًا مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَنْفَعَ أَخَاهُ فَلْيَنْفَعْهُ

I saw 'Ata b. Yazid al-Laithi praying in a standing posture. So I went to him passing in front of him; he, therefore, turned me away. He then said to me: Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: If anyone of you can do that he should not let anyone pass between him and the qiblah, he should do it.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ لاَ يَحُولَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ قِبْلَتِهِ أَحَدٌ فَلْيَفْعَلْ

كَانَ خَالِي يَرْقِي مِنَ الْعَقْرَبِ فَلَمَّا نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الرُّقَى أَتَاهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّكَ نَهَيْتَ عَنِ الرُّقَى وَإِنِّي أَرْقِي مِنَ الْعَقْرَبِ فَقَالَ مَنْ اسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ يَنْفَعَ أَخَاهُ فَلْيَفْعَلْ

[AI] He heard Jabir ibn Abdullah say, "A scorpion bit one of us while we were sitting with the Prophet ﷺ . A man asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, shall I perform ruqyah (incantation) on him?' The Prophet ﷺ replied, 'Whoever among you is able to benefit his brother, then let him do so.'"

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ لَدَغَتْ رَجُلًا مِنَّا عَقْرَبٌ وَنَحْنُ جُلُوسٌ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَرْقِيهِ؟ فَقَالَ مَنْ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَنْفَعَ أَخَاهُ فَلْيَنْفَعْهُ

[AI] He said, "O Messenger of Allah, should I seek refuge from the scorpion?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever among you is able to benefit his brother with something, then let him do so."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَرْقِي مِنَ الْعَقْرَبِ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَنْفَعَ أَخَاهُ بِشَيْءٍ فَلْيَفْعَلْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever among you is able to protect themselves from the Fire, even if it is by giving half of a date in charity, should do so."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَتَّقِيَ النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ فَلْيَفْعَلْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Fear the fire, even if it is with half a date."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware of the fire, even if it's with half a date."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware of the Hellfire, even if it is with half a date."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّتَمْرَةٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever among you is capable of protecting his religion and honor with his wealth, then let him do so." Abu Asma Halik.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَقِيَ دِينَهُ وَعِرْضَهُ بِمَالِهِ فَلْيَفْعَلْ» أبو عصمة هالك

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware of the fire, even if it is with half a date, and if you cannot find that, then with a good word."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدُوا فَبِكَلِمَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ»

[AI] He heard Ja'far ibn Abdullah saying, "A scorpion bit one of us while we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." A man said, "O Messenger of Allah, shall I recite a Ruqyah for him?" He ﷺ said, "Whoever among you is able to benefit his brother, then let him do so."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ لَدَغَتْ رَجُلًا مِنَّا عَقْرَبٌ وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيهِ؟ فقَالَ ﷺ «مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَنْفَعَ أَخَاهُ فَلْيَفْعَلْ»

[AI] "I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying three things before his death: 'Whoever among you can, should die with the belief that Allah is good, let him do so.'"

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ بِثَلَاثٍ «مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ لَا يَمُوتَ إِلَّا وَظَنُّهُ بِاللَّهِ حَسَنٌ فَلْيَفْعَلْ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever is able to protect themselves from the fire of Hell, even if it is by giving half a date in charity, should do so."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ يَتَّقِيَ النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ فَلْيَفْعَلْ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited sorcery. I have a relative who is affected by scorpion venom, so I came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned this to him. He said, "Whoever among you is able to benefit his brother, then let him do so."

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الرُّقَى وَلِي خَالٌ يَرْقِي مِنَ الْعَقْرَبِ فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ «مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَنْفَعَ أَخَاهُ فَلْيَفْعَلْ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited the use of charms. It was said, "O Messenger of Allah, you have prohibited the use of charms?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Whoever among you is capable of benefiting his brother, then let him do so."

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الرُّقَى فَقِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّكَ نَهَيْتَ عَنِ الرُّقَى؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَنْفَعَ أَخَاهُ فَلْيَفْعَلْ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O people, fear the Fire even if with half a date."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ»

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever among you can afford to get married, let him do so, and whoever cannot afford it should fast, for it will be a restraint (Wija) for him."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2241)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمُ الْبَاءَةَ فَلْيَتَزَوَّجْ وَمَنْ لَا فَعَلَيْهِ بِالصَّوْمِ؛ فَإِنَّهُ لَهُ وِجَاءٌ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is able to protect himself from the Fire, even if it is by giving half a date in charity, should do so."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ يَتَّقِيَ النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ فَلْيَفْعَلْ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fear the fire, even if with a piece of a date."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fear the fire, even if it is by giving away half a date."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fear the Fire, even if it is with the smallest piece of a date."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fear the Fire, even if it is with a piece of a date. And if you cannot find that, then with a kind word."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدُوا فَبِكَلِمَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ»

[AI] "O Messenger of Allah, is there a remedy for scorpion stings?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever is able to benefit his brother, let him do so."

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَفِي الْعَقْرَبِ رُقْيَةٌ؟ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ يَنْفَعَ أَخَاهُ فَلْيَفْعَلْ»

"مَنْ اسْتَطَاع مِنْكُم أَن لا يموُتَ إِلا وظَنُّه بِالله حسن فَلْيَفْعل".

"مَن اسْتَطَاع مِنكُم أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ خِبءٌ مِنْ عَمَلٍ صالِحٍ فَليفْعل".

"مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ ينْفَعَ أَخَاهُ فليفْعلْ".

"مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنكُمْ أَنْ يسْتُرَ أَخَاهُ الْمُذْنِبَ بطَرفِ ثَوْبِهِ فَلْيفْعلْ".

"مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنكُمْ أَنْ يَقى دينَهُ وعِرْضَهُ بمَاله فَلْيفْعلْ".

"مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَنْفعَ أَخَاهُ فَليَنْفَعْهُ".

"مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنكُمْ أَنْ يَسْتَتِرَ مِن النَّارِ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ فليَفْعَلْ".

"مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنكُمْ أَنْ لا يَحُولَ بَينَهُ وَبَينَ قِبْلَتِهِ أَحَدٌ فَليَفْعَلْ".
