When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished his prayer, he asked: Which of you is the one who spoke the words? He said nothing wrong. Then the man said: I (said), Messenger of Allah ﷺ; I came and had difficulty in breathing, so I said them. He said: I saw twelve angels racing against one another to be the one to take them to Allah. The narrator Humaid added: When any of you comes for praying, he should walk as usual (i.e. he should not hasten and run quickly); then he should pray as much as he finds it (along with the imam), and should offer the part of the prayer himself (when the prayer is finished) which the Imam had offered before him. So, on the day of Uhud, the companions of the Prophet ﷺ were defeated. Anas approached and saw Sa'd ibn Mu'adh defeated. He said, "Oh Abu Amr, where? Where?" He said, "By the One in whose hand my soul is, I can smell the scent of Paradise below Uhud." Anas carried him until he was killed. Sa'd ibn Mu'adh said, "By the One in whose hand my soul is, I did what I could." His sister said, "I did not recognize my brother except by his fingers." And indeed, he had eighty-one wounds between sword strikes, arrow shots, and spear thrusts. Allah revealed in reference to him, "Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah..." Anas said: I began to look towards the right and the left and (found) that every person was weeping wrapping his head with the cloth. Then a person in the mosque broke the ice and they used to dispute with him by attributing his fatherhood to another man than his own father. He said: Allah's Apostle, who is my father? He said: Your father is Hudhafa. Then 'Umar b. Khattab (Allah be pleased with him) dared say something and said: We are well pleased with Allah as our Lord, with Islam as our code of life and with Muhammad as our Messenger, seeking refuge with Allah from the evil of Turmoil. Thereupon Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Never did I see the good and evil as today. Paradise and Hell were given a visible shape before me (in this worldly life) and I saw both of them near this well.

[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ shaved his head in Mina, he took a portion of his right hair in his hand. When he finished, he gave it to me and said, "O Anas, take this to Umm Sulaim." When the people saw what he had specifically given her, they began to compete over the other portions. This one takes something and that one takes something. Muhammad ﷺ said, "I narrated this to Ubaydah Al-Salmani, and he said, 'I would rather have one strand of his hair with me than all the yellow and white (gold and silver) that have spread over the earth and found within it.'"

[Machine] I served the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for nine years, and he never said to me for anything I did: Why did you do it? Nor did he say to me for anything I did: You did it wrong or it was bad what you did.

[Machine] I asked Anas, "How many times did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform Umrah?" He said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed Umrah four times. His first Umrah was the one that the polytheists prevented him from completing in Dhul-Qadah. He also performed Umrah the following year in Dhul-Qadah. He also performed Umrah when he distributed the spoils of Hunain in Dhul-Qadah. And he performed Umrah during his Hajj."

[Machine] Abu Talhah came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was on the pulpit and said to the Prophet ﷺ, "What do you think about this verse that has been revealed? Allah has said, 'You will not attain righteousness until you spend [in the way of Allah] from that which you love' (Quran 3:92). And indeed, I do not have any wealth that I love more than my land of Bairuha'. And I am approaching it as a means to get closer to Allah." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, "Good, good. Bairuha' is a profitable land." So he divided it among them as gardens.

[Machine] "We came to the gathering, and when the horses arrived, we said, 'Let's go to Anas ibn Malik and ask him: Did you witness the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , making bets?' So we went to him while he was in his palace in the corner and we asked him, 'O Abu Hamzah, did you witness the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , making bets? Did the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , ever bet?' He said, 'Yes, by Allah, the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , indeed made bets on his horses, which were known as Sabaha, and he outraced the people and was delighted with that.'"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a rope between two pillars in the mosque and he asked, "What is this rope?" It was said, "O Messenger of Allah, it is for Hammadah bint Jahsh who prays, and when she becomes tired, she holds onto it." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Let her pray as much as she can, and when she becomes tired, let her sit down."
