[Machine] Um Ayman cried when the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ passed away. They asked her, "Why are you crying?" She replied, "By Allah, I knew that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would pass away, but I am crying for the revelation that has ceased coming down to us from the sky."

ahmad:13592ʿAffān > Shuʿbah > Qatādah > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: There are three qualities that whoever possesses them will find the sweetness of faith. The first is that Allah and His Messenger are more beloved to him than anything else. The second is that he loves a person only for the sake of Allah. And the third is that he would prefer to be thrown into the fire rather than to revert to disbelief.

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ visited Umm Haraam, so we brought him dates and clarified butter. He said, "Put this in its container and this in its pitcher, for I am fasting." He then stood up and prayed two voluntary units of prayer with us. Umm Haraam and Umm Sulaym stood behind us, and he made me stand on his right, which he usually did not do. He then prayed voluntary prayer on a mat. When he finished his prayer, Umm Sulaym said, "I have a request, which is that you pray to Allah for Anas." At that moment, he did not leave without making supplication for me. He said, "O Allah, increase his wealth, progeny, and bless him in it." Anas said, "My daughter informed me that I have buried from my loins ninety-nine descendants, and there was no one in al-Ansar who had more wealth than me." Then Anas said, "O Thabit, I do not own any yellow or white property except for my ring."

[Machine] The prayer time arrived, and the neighbors of the mosque stood up to perform ablution (wudu). However, their houses were far away, so the Prophet ﷺ called for a container with water, but it was not full. He dipped his fingers in it and poured it over them, saying, "Perform ablution until all of you have done so." What remained in the container was approximately the same amount as before, and there were about seventy to a hundred people.

They said: (Yes) it is that very thing that, has reached you and they were not (the people) to speak a lie. Upon this he said: Don't you like that the people should return to their houses along with worldly riches, whereas you should return to your houses with the Messenger of Allah? If the people were to tread a valley or a narrow path, and the Ansar were also to tread a valley or a narrow path, I would tread the valley (along with the) Ansar or the narrow path (along with the) Ansar.
