[AI] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ forbade drinking while standing, so I said, "What about eating?" He replied, "It is worse and more impure."
أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ زَجَرَ عَنِ الشُّرْبِ قَائِمًا قَالَ فَقُلْتُ فَالْأَكْلُ قَالَ أَشَرُّ وَأَخْبَثُ
that Allah's Apostle ( ﷺ) forbade that a person should drink while standing. Qatada reported: We said to him: What about eating? Thereupon he (Anas) said: That is even worse and more detestable (abominable).
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ نَهَى أَنْ يَشْرَبَ الرَّجُلُ قَائِمًا قَالَ قَتَادَةُ فَقُلْنَا فَالأَكْلُ فَقَالَ ذَاكَ أَشَرُّ أَوْ أَخْبَثُ
From Anas: "The Prophet ﷺ prohibited that a man should drink while standing." (Qatadah said:) So it was said: "And eating ?" He (Anas) said: "That is worse."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ يَشْرَبَ الرَّجُلُ قَائِمًا فَقِيلَ الأَكْلُ قَالَ ذَاكَ أَشَدُّ
[AI] The Prophet ﷺ forbade drinking while standing. [Someone] said, "I asked him about eating", and he replied, "That is even worse."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «نَهَى عَنِ الشُّرْبِ قَائِمًا» قَالَ وَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْأَكْلِ قَالَ ذَاكَ أَخْبَثُ
[AI] The messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited a man from drinking while standing. We asked Anas, "What about food?" He replied, "That is even more improper or dirtier." Ibn Bakr said, "Or filthier."
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَشْرَبَ الرَّجُلُ قَائِمًا قَالَ فَقُلْنَا لِأَنَسٍ فَالطَّعَامُ؟ قَالَ ذَلِكَ أَشَدُّ أَوْ أَنْتَنُ قَالَ ابْنُ بَكْرٍ أَوْ أَخْبَثُ
[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade drinking while standing. I said, "What about eating?" He said, "That is even more reprehensible."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الشُّرْبِ قَائِمًا قُلْتُ فَالْأَكْلُ؟ قَالَ ذَاكَ أَشَدُّ
[AI] It was narrated that the Prophet ﷺ prohibited drinking while standing and he was asked, "What about eating?" He replied, "That is even worse or more harmful."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ زَجَرَ عَنِ الشُّرْبِ قَائِمًا قَالَ فَقِيلَ لِأَنَسٍ فَالْأَكْلُ؟ قَالَ ذَاكَ أَشَدُّ أَوْ أَشَرُّ
