When Allah fashioned Adam in Paradise, He left him as He liked him to leave. Then Iblis roamed round him to see what actually that was and when he found him hollow from within, he recognised that he had been created with a disposition that he would not have control over himself. So Allah will say to Jibril, 'Go and bring My slave to Me.' Jibril will depart and find the people of Hellfire crouching, weeping. He will then return to his Lord and inform Him. Allah will say, 'Bring him to Me, for he is in such-and-such place.' Jibril will bring him and make him stand before his Lord. Allah will then ask him, 'O My slave, how did you find your dwelling and the heat?' The slave will respond, 'O Lord, how could I find anything good in a dwelling so evil and in heat so harsh?' Allah will say, 'Return My slave.' The slave will plead, 'O Lord, I did not hope that You would return me to it after You had brought me out of it.'"
