ahmad:13443ʿAbd al-Wahhāb > Saʿīd > Qatādah > Anas

Some people or some men from 'Ukl, or 'Uraynah came to the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and said: "O Messenger of Allah, we are herdsmen, not tillers," the climate of Al-Madinah did not suit them. So the Messenger of Allah [SAW] ordered that they be allocated some camels and a herdsman, and he told them to go out with them and drink their milk and urine. When they recovered and they were in the vicinity of Al-Harrah, they reverted to disbelief after their Islam, killed the herdsman of the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and drove off the camels. He sent (men) after them and they were brought, and he had their eyes gouged out, and their hands and feet cut off. Then he left them in Al-Harrah in that state until they died." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4032)

Even though the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would hear the crying of a baby, he would make his fear of his mother's distress disappear."

أحمد:١٣٤٤٥حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي قُرَّةَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ

"The Prophet of Allah said: 'When a person is placed in his grave and his companions depart from him, he hears the sound of their sandals. Then two angles came to him and make him sit up, and they say to him: What did you say about this man? As for the believer, he says: "I bear witness that he is the slave of Allah and His Messenger. Then it is said to him: Look at your place in Hell, Which Allah has replaced for you with a place in Paradise. The prophet said: 'And he sees them both."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2050)

ahmad:13447ʿAbd al-Wahhāb > Saʿīd b. Abū ʿArūbah > Qatādah > Anas b. Mālik

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the garden of the palm trees of Banu al-Najjar. He heard a voice and was terrified. He asked: Who are the people buried in these graves? The people replied: Messenger of Allah! These are some people who died in the pre-Islamic times. He said: Seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the fire, and the trail of Antichrist. They asked: Why is it that, Messenger of Allah? He said: When a man is placed in his grave, an angel comes to him and says to him: Whom did you worship? Allah then guides him and he says: I worshiped Allah. He is then asked: What was your opinion of this man? He replies: He is Allah’s servant and His Apostle. He will not then be asked about anything else. He will then be taken to his abode in Hell and will be told: This was your abode in Hell, but Allah protected you and had mercy on you substituted for you an abode in Paradise for it. He will say: Leave me so that I may go and give glad tidings to my family. He will be told: Dwell. When an infidel is placed in his grave, an angel comes to him, reprimands him and asks him: Whom did you worship? He replies: I do not know. He will be told: You neither knew nor did you follow(the believers). He is then asked: What was your opinion on this man? He replies: I held the opinion that the other people held. He will then give him a blow between his ears with an iron hammer and will utter a shout which will be heard by all the creatures(near him) with the exception of men and jinn. [Machine] There were seventy young men from the Ansar called the Qurrā who used to stay in the mosque. When it was evening, they would go to a area of the city, where they would study and pray. Their families thought they were in the mosque, and the people of the mosque thought they were with their families. Anas (Allah be pleased with him) thus narrated: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ got up in the morning as a bridegroom of Zainab bint jahsh (Allah be pleased witt her) as he had married her at Medina. He invited people to the wedding feast after the day had well risen. There sat Messenger of Allah ﷺ and there kept sitting along with him some persons after the people had stood up (for departure) ; then Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up and walked on and I also walked along with him until he reached the door of the apartment of 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her). He then thought that they (those who had been sitting there after meal) had gone away. So he returned and I also returned with him, but they were still sitting at their places. So he returned for the second time and I also returned until he reached the apartment of 'A'isha. He again returned and I also returned and they had (by that time) stood up, and he hung a curtain between me and him (at the door of the apartment of Hadrat Zainab, where he had to stay), and Allah revealed the verse pertaining to veil. [Machine] I heard him say that no one was more eager for the Asr prayer than the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , even if they were the farthest two men from the Ansar in distance from the Mosque of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , such as Abu Lubabah ibn Abdul-Mundhir, the brother of Bani Amr ibn Awf, and Abu 'Abs ibn Jabr, the brother of Bani Harithah. The house of Abu Lubabah was in Quba, and the house of Abu 'Abs ibn Jabr was in Bani Harithah. Then they used to pray Asr with the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , and then go to their people, and they did not pray it earlier than the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , did.

[Machine] "Indeed, you have neglected/pronounced negligence upon prayer until you have forgotten it, or it was said: you have forgotten it until you have abandoned it. Indeed, I have heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'I have been sent and the Hour is like these two,' and he gestured with his index finger and middle finger."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to, when he reached a village at night, not deceive until morning. If he heard the call to prayer, he would stop, and if he did not hear the call to prayer, he would continue on.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade visiting graves, eating the meat of sacrificial animals after three days, drinking intoxicants in containers made of gourd, hollowed stones, varnished pots, and dried animal droppings. He said, "After that, I was forbidden from three things, and then it appeared to me that I forbade you from visiting graves. Then it appeared to me that it softens the heart, brings tears to the eyes, and reminds of the Hereafter, so visit them and do not say anything offensive. And I forbade you from eating the meat of sacrificial animals after three nights, and then it appeared to me that people treat their guests kindly and keep food for their absentees, so keep what you wish. And I forbid you from drinking intoxicants in these vessels, so drink what you wish, but do not drink something that causes intoxication. Whoever wants can pour his drink into a leather skin."

[Machine] The prayer was established during the time of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , and there was something among the wives of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , that he did not approve of. So the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , would separate some of them from others. Then Abu Bakr came and said, "O Messenger of Allah, instruct them to keep dust in their mouths and go out for prayer."
