ahmad:13471 – Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh > Ḥumayd > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] Abu Musa al-Ash'ari came to carry the Prophet ﷺ , but he was busy, so the Prophet said, "By Allah, I will not have you carry me." When he was finished, he called him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, you swore not to have me carry you." He said, "And I swear that I will have you carry me."

أحمد:١٣٤٧١ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

جَاءَ أَبُو مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيُّ يَسْتَحْمِلُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَوَافَقَ مِنْهُ شُغْلًا فَقَالَ وَاللهِ لَا أَحْمِلُكَ فَلَمَّا قَفَّى دَعَاهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَدْ حَلَفْتَ أَنْ لَا تَحْمِلَنِي قَالَ وَأَنَا أَحْلِفُ لَأَحْمِلَنَّكَ

ahmad:12056 – Ibn Abū ʿAdī > Ḥumayd > Anas

[Machine] Abu Musa carried the Prophet ﷺ and he coincided with him in some work. Abu Musa said, "By Allah, I will not carry you." When the work was completed, the Prophet ﷺ called him and he carried him. Abu Musa said, "O Messenger of Allah, you swore not to carry me." The Prophet ﷺ replied, "I swear by Allah, I will carry you."

أحمد:١٢٠٥٦ – حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ أَبَا مُوسَى اسْتَحْمَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَوَافَقَ مِنْهُ شُغْلًا فَقَالَ وَاللهِ لَا أَحْمِلُكَ فَلَمَّا قَفَّى دَعَاهُ فَحَمَلَهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّكَ حَلَفْتَ أَنْ لَا تَحْمِلَنِي قَالَ فَأَنَا أَحْلِفُ لَأَحْمِلَنَّكَ

ahmad:12835 – Yaḥyá > Ḥumayd > Anas

[Machine] Abu Musa took a load for the Prophet ﷺ and he agreed to carry it. Abu Musa said, "By Allah, I will not carry you." When they arrived, the Prophet called him and said, "You swore that you would not carry us." Abu Musa replied, "And I swear I will carry you." So, he carried them.

أحمد:١٢٨٣٥ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ
