Some of the Ansar begged from the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) and he gave them something. They later begged from him again and he gave them something so that what he had was exhausted. He then said :What I have I shall never store away from you but Allah will strengthen the abstinence of him who abstains, will give a satisfaction to him who wants to be satisfied, and will strengthen the endurance of him who shows endurance. No one has been given a more ample gift than endurance. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1644)

Allah extends His mercy until the last third of the night, then He descends to the lowest heaven and says: 'Is there anyone seeking forgiveness? Is there anyone asking for repentance? Is there anyone in need? Is there anyone seeking help?' Until dawn."

[Machine] A man placed his hand on the Prophet ﷺ and said, "By Allah, I cannot bear to put my hand on you due to the intensity of your warmth." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, we, the community of prophets, have our afflictions multiplied just as our rewards are multiplied. If a prophet is afflicted with lice until he kills them, and if a prophet is afflicted with poverty until he takes a cloak and they come and take it away, they would rejoice in affliction just as you rejoice in ease."

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ retired to the mosque. He heard them (the people) reciting the Qur'an in a loud voice. He removed the curtain and said: Lo! every one of you is calling his Lord quietly. One should not trouble the other and one should not raise the voice in recitation or in prayer over the voice of the other. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1332)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "You will surely follow the ways of the previous nations, inch by inch and arm by arm, to the extent that if one of the people of Israel entered the hole of a lizard, you would also enter it." And he also said once: "You will follow them therein."

ahmad:11898ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Maʿmar > Zayd b. Aslam > ʿAṭāʾ b. Yasār > Abū Saʿīd

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "When the believers are saved from the Fire on the Day of Resurrection, and they are safe, there will be no argument among them regarding their rights. However, the believer who had arguments and disputes with his companions in the world will have a stronger argument with them on that Day than the believers had with their Lord regarding their brothers who were admitted to the Fire. They will say, 'Our Lord, those people were our companions, they prayed with us, fasted with us, and performed Hajj with us.' Allah will say, 'Go and bring out those whom you recognize.' Then, they will come to them and recognize them by their appearance, as the Fire will not consume their appearances. Some of them will be taken out of the Fire up to their ankles, and some up to their calves. They will be brought out and they will say, 'Our Lord, You have brought us out of those whom You commanded us to take out, then bring out those who have a mustard seed's weight of faith in their hearts.' Then, those who have an ounce of faith in their hearts will be brought out, until those who have an atom's weight of faith in their hearts will be brought out." Abu Sa`id said, "Whoever does not believe in this, let him recite the Ayah, 'Verily, Allah wrongs not even of the weight of a speck of dust, but if there is any good, He doubles it, and gives from His Own Self a great reward.' (4:40)']. They will say, 'Our Lord, You have brought us out of those whom You commanded us to take out, and there is no one left in the Fire.' It will be said to them, 'Allah's mercy encompasses everything, and these, the stones with which they did not do any good deeds for Allah, nor did they believe in any Ayah of Allah, have been torched until they became like coals. Then, they will be brought to a body of water called 'The Water of Life' and it will be poured on them. As a result, they will grow and emerge like pearls, and they will have rings in their necks that Allah has fashioned for them. They will be the freed slaves of Allah.' It will then be said to them, 'Enter Paradise. Have you seen anything you desire or anything that pleases you, so that you may have it and it will be better for you than this?' They will reply, 'Our Lord, what is better than this?' Allah will say, 'I will be pleased with you and will never be angry with you again.'"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade wearing of two garments and the sale of two garments. As for the wearing of two garments, it encompasses the wearing of a garment that has both ends placed on his left shoulder, while its opening is over his right shoulder. The other is wearing a single garment that has nothing else on it, and he lets down his lower garment area up towards the sky. As for the sale of two garments, it includes throwing away and relinquishing a garment, where he says, "If you throw away this garment, the sale is binding." And the contact means touching it with his hand without wearing or flipping it, and if he touches it, the sale becomes binding.

And that you would always live in affluent circumstances and never become destitute, as words of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, are:" And it would be announced to them: This is the Paradise. [Machine] We performed Hajj and camped under a tree. The son of a hunter came and camped beside me. I said, "What has Allah afflicted me with?" He then came to me and said, "O Abu Sa'id, don't you see what people are saying about you, that you are the Dajjal? Haven't you heard the Prophet ﷺ saying that the Dajjal will neither be born nor enter Medina or Mecca? I have just come from Medina and I am now heading to Mecca." He then said, "By Allah, I know the whereabouts of the Dajjal's emergence; it is the hour. I said, "Woe to you! The whole day is a distress except for this part."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever raises three daughters and raises them well, shows mercy to them, and treats them kindly, then he will enter Paradise." Abdullah said, "My father, may Allah have mercy on him, said that Khalid ibn Abdullah, who is known as At-Tahhan, and Malik ibn Anas, and Abu Al-Ahwas, and Hammad ibn Zayd all died in the year seventy-nine, except that Malik died before Hammad by a short period." My father said, "In that year, I sought out knowledge. We were at the doorstep of Hushaym and he was narrating to us. He would either talk about funerals or rituals. Then a blind man came and said, 'Hammad ibn Zayd has died, may Allah have mercy on him.'"

I asked Abu Sa'id al-Khudri about wearing lower garment. He said: You have come to the man who knows it very well. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The way for a believer to wear a lower garment is to have it halfway down his legs and he is guilty of no sin if it comes halfway between that and the ankles, but what comes lower than the ankles is in Hell. On the day of Resurrection. Allah will not look at him who trails his lower garment conceitedly. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4093)
