[Machine] We performed Hajj and camped under a tree. The son of a hunter came and camped beside me. I said, "What has Allah afflicted me with?" He then came to me and said, "O Abu Sa'id, don't you see what people are saying about you, that you are the Dajjal? Haven't you heard the Prophet ﷺ saying that the Dajjal will neither be born nor enter Medina or Mecca? I have just come from Medina and I am now heading to Mecca." He then said, "By Allah, I know the whereabouts of the Dajjal's emergence; it is the hour. I said, "Woe to you! The whole day is a distress except for this part."

I accompanied Ibn Sayyad to Mecca and he said to me: What I have gathered from people is that they think that I am Dajjal. Have you not heard Messenger of Allah (may peace upon him) as saying: He will have no children, I said: Yes, of course. Thereupon he said: But I have children. Have you not heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He would not enter Mecca and Medina? I said: Yes, of course. Thereupon he said I have been once in Medina and now I intend to go to Mecca. And he said to me at the end of his talk: By Allah, I know his place of birth his abode where he is just now. He (Abu Sa'id) said: This caused confusion in my mind (in regard to his identity).

[Machine] "O Abu Sa'id, what do people say about me? They say that I am the Dajjal. Have you not heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying that the Dajjal does not have children, and he does not enter Madinah or Makkah?" He said, "Yes, indeed. And he was born to me, and I have left Madinah and I intend to go to Makkah." Abu Sa'id said, "By Allah, if the people knew his whereabouts, I would have informed you." He said, "Damn you! May you be deprived for the rest of the day."
