The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Praise be to Allah, we seek His help, we seek His forgiveness, and we seek refuge in Allah from the evil of ourselves. Whomever Allah guides, no one can misguide him, and whomever Allah misguides, no one can guide him. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger." The Azdi then said, "Respond to me with these words." He said, "I have heard poetry, eloquence, and divination, but I have never heard words like these. They have reached the depths of the ocean. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger." He then embraced Islam. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked him, "Did you embrace Islam for yourself and your people?" He replied, "Yes, for myself and my people." Later, a group from the Prophet's companions passed by his people, and some of them were affected by ailments. They said, "These are from the people of the Azdi, return them." So they were returned.

If they had seen Muhammad, they would have stood and killed him. Then, his daughter Fatimah came weeping until she entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: "These leaders of the Quraish have conspired against you. If they had seen you, they would have stood and killed you. Not a single one of them is except that he knows his share of your blood." He said: "O my daughter, show me some water for ablution." He performed ablution and entered the Masjid. When they saw him, they said: "There he is!" And they lowered their gazes, and their cheeks fell into their chests, and they began to strike their thighs. Not a single one of them raised his eyes towards him or stood up to him. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ approached until he stood over their heads, and he took a handful of soil and said: "May their faces be disfigured!" Then he pelted them with it, and not a single man among them was struck by a pebble except that he was killed on the Day of Badr as a disbeliever.

[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed Umrah at Dhul-Hulayfah in his 'Umrah, he informed the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that the Quraysh said they were not worthy of being sought after for trade because of their poverty. So his companions said, "If we shave our heads and eat from its meat and drink from its broth, we will become strong tomorrow when we meet the people. Won't we have provisions?" He ﷺ said, "Don't do that, but gather your provisions for me." So they gathered for him and spread out their food. They ate until they were full, then they turned and each of them stuffed his bag with food. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ moved forward until he entered the Masjid. The Quraysh were sitting near the corner, so he tapped his cloak and said, "Do not see from you people any whimpering. Take the corner." Then he entered until he reached the Yamani corner, then he went to the Black Stone corner. The Quraysh said, "What do they agree upon in walking in such a manner that they jump like wild animals?" So he did that three times, completing the Tawaf. Abu Al-Tufail said, "Ibn Abbas informed me that the Prophet ﷺ did that during his Farewell Hajj."
