Al-Harith ibn 'Abdullah al-Ansari said, "I saw Umm ad-Darda' going to visit (a sick) Ansari man from the mosque and she was on her mount in an uncovered howdah."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الأَنْصَارِيُّ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ أُمَّ الدَّرْدَاءِ عَلَى رِحَالِهَا أَعْوَادٌ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهَا غِشَاءٌ عَائِدَةً لِرَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَسْجِدِ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ
