The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not pray over Ma'iz ibn Malik, and he did not prohibit to pray over him.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَى مَاعِزِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ وَلَمْ يَنْهَ عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ عَلَيْهِ
