The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade to eat (the meat of animals) slaughtered by the bedouins for vainglory and pride. Abu Dawud said: The narrator Ghundar narrated this tradition as a saying of Ibn 'Abbas (and not of the Prophet).  

أبو داود:٢٨٢٠حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ عَنْ عَوْفٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَيْحَانَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ أَكْلِ مُعَاقَرَةِ الأَعْرَابِ  

قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ اسْمُ أَبِي رَيْحَانَةَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَطَرٍ وَغُنْدَرٌ أَوْقَفَهُ عَلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
