[Machine] About the Prophet ﷺ , he delivered a sermon and said in his sermon: "Verily, Allah has commanded me to teach you what you were unaware of among what He has taught me on this day. Indeed, all wealth that I distribute among my followers is lawful, and indeed, I have created my followers upon pure natural inclination, all of them. However, devils come to them and divert them from their religion and forbid them what I have made lawful for them, and they command them to associate with Me that which I have not revealed any authority for. Then, indeed, Allah looked upon the people of the earth and disliked them – Arabs and non-Arabs – except for remnants of the People of the Scripture. And He said: 'I have sent you to test you and to test [others] through you. And I have revealed to you a Book which cannot be washed away by water, so you may recite it while in a state of sleep or wakefulness.' And indeed, Allah has commanded me to approach the Quraysh and I said, 'O Lord, if I approach them in that manner, they will seize my head and slander me.' So He said: 'Keep steady and advance upon them in the same way you were advanced upon, and struggle against them with the struggle that they struggle against you. And spend freely, for you will be spent upon, and bring an army as I had brought an army along with you.' And he mentioned the Hadith."  

الطبراني:١٥١٢٤حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ حِمَارٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ خَطَبَ فَقَالَ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ إنََّ اللهَ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُعَلِّمَكُمْ مَا جَهِلْتُمْ مِمَّا عَلِّمَنِي فِي يَوْمِي هَذَا إِنَّ كُلَّ مَالٍ نَحَلْتُهُ عِبَادِي حَلَالٌ وَإِنِّي خَلَقْتُ عِبَادِي حُنَفَاءَ كُلَّهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمْ أَتَتْهُمُ الشَّيَاطِينُ فَاجْتَالَتْهُمْ عَنْ دِينِهِمْ وَحَرَّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ مَا أَحْلَلْتُ لَهُمْ وَأَمَرَتْهُمْ أَنْ يُشْرِكُوا بِي مَا لَمْ أُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا ثُمَّ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ نَظَرَ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ فَمَقَتَهُمْ عَرَبَهُمْ وَعَجَمَهُمْ إِلَّا بَقَايَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَقَالَ إِنَّمَا بَعَثْتُكَ لِأَبْتَلِيَكَ وَأَبْتَلِيَ بِكَ وَأَنْزَلْتُ عَلَيْكَ كِتَابًا لَا يَغْسِلُهُ الْمَاءُ تَقْرَؤُهُ نَائِمًا وَيَقْظَانًا وإِنَّ اللهَ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ آتِيَ قُرَيْشًا فَقُلْتُ يَا رَبِّ إِذًا يَثْلَغُوا رَأْسِي فَيَدَعُوهُ خُبْزَةً فَقَالَ اسْتَخْرِجْهُمْ كَمَا اسْتَخْرَجُوكَ وَاغْزُهُمْ نُغْزِكَ وَأَنْفِقْ فَسَيُنْفَقُ عَلَيْكَ وَابْعَثْ جَيْشًا أَبْعَثْ مَعَهُ خَمْسَةً مِثْلَهُ وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

I have created My servants as one having a natural inclination to the worship of Allah but it is Satan who turns them away from the right religion and he makes unlawful what has been declared lawful for them and he commands them to ascribe partnership with Me, although he has no justification for that. And verily, Allah looked towards the people of the world and He showed hatred for the Arabs and the non-Arabs, but with the exception of some remnants from the People of the Book. And He (further) said: I have sent thee (the Holy Prophet) in order to put you to test and put (those to test) through you. And I sent the Book to you which cannot be washed away by water, so that you may recite it while in the state of wakefulness or sleep. Verily, Allah commanded me to burn (kill) the Quraish. I said: My Lord, they would break my head (like the tearing) of bread, and Allah said: You turn them out as they turned you out, you fight against them and We shall help you in this, you should spend and you would be conferred upon. You send an army and I would send an army five times greater than that. Fight against those who disobey you along with those who obey you. The inmates of Paradise are three: One who wields authority and is just and fair, one who Is truthful and has been endowed with power to do good deeds. And the person who is merciful and kind hearted towards his relatives and to every pious Muslim, and one who does not stretch his hand in spite of having a large family to support. And He said: The inmates of Hell are five: the weak who lack power to (avoid evil), the (carefree) who pursue (everything irrespective of the fact that it is good or evil) and who do not have any care for their family or for their wealth. And those dishonest whose greed cannot be concealed even in the case of minor things. And the third. who betray you. morning and evening, in regard to your family and your property. He also made a mention of the miser and the liar and those who are in the habit of abusing people and using obscene and foul language. Abu Ghassan in his narration did not make mention of" Spend and there would be spent for you."

And indeed, the devils have come to them, diverting them from their religion and prohibiting for them what I have made lawful. And they have been commanded to associate partners with Me for which I have not sent any authority. And indeed, Allah approached the people of the Earth before He sent me, so their Arabs and non-Arabs were equal except for remnants of the People of the Book. And He said to me, 'I have revealed a Book that cannot be washed away by water. So, read it while sleeping and awake.' And indeed, Allah has commanded me to inform the Quraysh. I said, 'Which Lord should I inform them of?' He said, 'The One who provided you with food, and made you walk barefoot.' And He said to me, 'Expel them as they expelled you, and fight them as they fight you. And spend, and We shall spend on you. And send an army, and We shall send five times that. And fight with those who obey you, and turn away from those who disobey you.'"  

ابن حبّان:٦٥٤أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَوْفٍ عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ الْأَثْرَمِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ حِمَارٍ قَالَ

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فقَالَ «إِنَّ اللَّهَ جَلَّ وَعَلَا أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُعَلِّمَكُمْ مِمَّا عَلَّمَنِي يَوْمِي هَذَا وَإِنَّهُ قَالَ لِي إِنِّي خَلَقْتُ عِبَادِي حُنَفَاءَ كُلَّهُمْ وَإِنَّ كُلَّ مَا أَنْحَلْتُ عِبَادِي فَهُوَ لَهُمْ حَلَالٌ وَإِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ أَتَتْهُمْ فَاجْتَالَتْهُمْ عَنْ دِينِهِمْ وَحَرَّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الَّذِي أَحْلَلْتُ لَهُمْ وَأَمَرَتْهُمْ أَنْ يُشْرِكُوا بِي مَا لَمْ أُنْزِلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ أَتَى أَهْلَ الْأَرْضِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَبْعَثَنِي فَمَقَتَهُمْ عَرَبَهُمْ وَعَجَمَهُمْ إِلَّا بَقَايَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَإِنَّهُ قَالَ لِي قَدْ أَنْزَلْتُ كِتَابًا لَا يَغْسِلُهُ الْمَاءُ فَاقْرَأْهُ نَائِمًا وَيَقْظَانَ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُخْبِرَ قُرَيْشًا وَإِنِّي قُلْتُ أَيْ رَبِّ إِذًا يَثْلَغُوا رَأْسِي فَيَدَعُوهُ خُبْزَةً وَإِنَّهُ قَالَ لِي اسْتَخْرِجْهُمْ كَمَا اسْتَخْرَجُوكَ وَاغْزُهُمْ يَسْتَغْزُونَكَ وَأَنْفِقْ نُنْفِقْ عَلَيْكَ وَابْعَثْ جَيْشًا نَبْعَثْ خَمْسَةَ أَمْثَالِهِ وَقَاتِلْ بِمَنْ أَطَاعَكَ مَنْ عَصَاكَ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in a sermon he delivered, "Verily, Allah has commanded me to teach you what He has taught me on this day. And he said to me, 'Every wealth that I have acquired for my servants is lawful for them, and I have created my servants as upright, all of them. And verily, the devils have approached them and tempted them away from their religion, and have forbidden them what I have made permissible for them. And I have commanded them to associate partners with me without any authority, and I have commanded them to change my creation.' And verily, Allah looked at the people of the Earth before He sent me, and He detested them, both the Arabs and non-Arabs, except for the remnants of the people of the Book. And verily, Allah ﷻ said, 'Verily, I have sent you only to test you and for you to test them, and I have revealed upon you a book that cannot be washed away by water. You can recite it while asleep and while awake. And verily, Allah ﷻ has inspired me to conquer the Quraysh.' I said, 'What if they demean my honor and attack me?' Allah said, 'Drive them out as they drove you out, and fight against them. We will provide for you and send an army that is five times their size. Fight against those who obey you and those who disobey you.'"

[Machine] One day during his sermon, he said, "Verily, my Lord has commanded me to teach you what you are ignorant of from what He has taught me on this day." He then mentioned the conversation and said, "O Muhammad, indeed I have sent you to be tested and to test others through you. And I have revealed a book upon you that cannot be washed away by water, and you can recite it while asleep or awake. And indeed, Allah has commanded me to destroy the Quraysh, so I said, 'O Lord, if I do so, they will put my head on a loaf of bread.' He said, 'Remove them as they removed you, and hurt them as they hurt you. And spend, and we shall spend on you. And send an army, and we shall send five times their number.' And fight those who obey you and those who disobey you." He then mentioned the conversation.  

البيهقي:١٧٧٩٤أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ فُورَكٍ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ثنا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ حِمَارٍ الْمُجَاشِعِيِّ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ

"إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالى أَمَرَنِى أَنْ أُعَلِّمَكُمْ مَا جَهلتُمْ، ممَّا عَلَّمَنِى في يومِى هَذَا، فإِنَّهُ قال: إِنَّ كُلَّ مَال نحلْتُهُ عِبَادِى فهو لهم حَلالٌ، وإنِّي خَلَقْتُ عبَادِى حُنَفَاءَ كُلَّهُمْ، فأَتتهمْ الشَّياطينُ فَاجتَالتْهم عَنْ دِينِهِمْ، وَحَرَّمَتْ عَلَيهِمْ مَا أحْللتُ لَهُمْ، وأَمَرتَهُمْ أَنْ يُشْرِكُوا بي مَا لَمْ أنَزِّلْ بهِ سُلْطَانًا، وإنَّ اللهَ نَظَرَ إِلَى أَهْلِ الأرْضِ فَمَقَتَهُمْ عَربِيَّهُمْ وَعجَمِيَّهُمْ. إلا بَقَايَا مِنْ أهل الْكِتَاب، وإنَّ الله أَمَرنى أن أَغْزُوَ قُرُيشًا. فَقلتُ: يَا رَبِّ، إِنَّهُمْ إِذَنْ يثلغوا رَأسِى حتَّى يَدَعُوهُ خُبْزَةً. فَقَال: إِنَّمَا بَعَثْتُكَ لأَبْتَلِيَكَ، وَأَبْتَلى بكَ. وَقَدْ أنْزَلْتُ عَلَيكِ كِتَابًا لا يَغْسِلُهُ الماءُ، تَقْرَؤُهُ في الْمَنَامِ والْيَقَظَةِ فَاغْزُهُمْ يُغْزِكَ، وَأَنْفِقْ يُنْفِقْ عَلَيكَ، وَابْعَثَ جَيشًا نُمِدَّكِ بِخَمْسَةِ أَمْثَالِهِمْ، وَقَاتِلْ بِمَنْ أَطَاعَكَ مَنْ عَصَاكَ".
