19. Chapter of ʿAyn (Male) (3/147)
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet, ﷺ , he said, "When people differ, Ibn Sumayyah is with the truth."
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to us, "You will see after me, selfishness (on the part of other people) and other matters that you will disapprove of." They asked, "What do you order us to do, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ? (under such circumstances)?" He said, "Pay their rights to them (to the rulers) and ask your right from Allah." (Using translation from Bukhārī 7052)
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever tells a lie about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hell.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 584)
[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , he said, "A man comes holding the hand of another man and says, 'O Lord, this man has killed me.' Allah (God) asks, 'Why did you kill him?' He replies, 'To gain honor for myself.' Allah says, 'Indeed, it does not belong to you.' Then, another man comes holding the hand of another man and says, 'O Lord, this man has killed me.' Allah asks, 'Why did you kill him?' He replies, 'I killed him to seek honor for so-and-so.' Allah says, 'Indeed, it is not for him by your sin.'"
[Machine] "Some people from the people of Kufa came to him, so he recited peace upon them and commanded them to have taqwa (fear of God) and not to differ in the Quran and not to dispute about it. For indeed, it does not differ, nor does it fall apart, nor does it deviate due to the abundance of its response. Don't you see that the sharia of Islam is one, with its limits, its recitation, and the command of Allah in it? Even if it had been from two letters, one would have commanded something that the other forbade, that would have been the disagreement. But it comprehends all of that. And indeed, I hope that the best among you in understanding and knowledge may be from the people. If I knew anyone who could inform me about what Allah revealed to Muhammad, ﷺ , from me, then I would have sought him until his knowledge was increased to the level of my knowledge. I have known that the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to be presented with the Quran once a year. It was presented to him twice in the year he passed away. When I recited the Quran to him, he would tell me that I am doing well. So whoever recites according to my recitation, let him not leave it out of desire. For indeed, whoever denies a letter from it, he denies it in its entirety."
[Machine] Narrated Ibn Mas'ud: The Prophet ﷺ said, "There are two joys for the fasting person: a joy when he breaks his fast and a joy when he meets his Lord. And the odor of the mouth of a fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the scent of musk."
"Allah, may He be exalted, said: 'Fasting is for me and I shall reward for it. The fasting person has two moments of joy: When he breaks his fast and when he meets his Lord. And the smell that comes from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk."' ' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2212)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught us the Tashahhud during times of need: "Indeed, all praise is due to Allah. We seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allah from the evils of ourselves. Whoever Allah guides, no one can misguide, and whoever Allah allows to be misguided, no one can guide. And I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger."
[Machine] "Abdullah taught us the sermon of necessity. Praise be to Allah, we praise Him and seek His help. Whoever Allah guides, there is no misguidance for him, and whoever Allah allows to go astray, there is no guidance for him. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. O you who have believed, fear Allah and speak words of appropriate justice. O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims. O people, fear your Lord who created you" - until the end of the verse.
