[Machine] The reading of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was known in the afternoon and the evening by the movement of his beard.  

الطبراني:١٠١٠٨ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحَرِيشِ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزَّعْرَاءِ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

«كَانَتْ قِرَاءَةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ تُعْرَفُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ بِتَحْرِيكِ لِحْيَتِهِ»

“I said to Khabbab: ‘How did you recognize that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was reciting in the Zuhr and the ‘Asr?’ He said: ‘From the movement of his beard.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 826)  

أحمد:٢١٠٦٠ – حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ

قُلْنَا لِخَبَّابٍ بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ كُنْتُمْ تَعْرِفُونَ قِرَاءَةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ؟ قَالَ بِاضْطِرَابِ لِحْيَتِهِ  

ذِكْرُ الْخَبَرِ الدَّالِّ عَلَى أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ لَا يَجْهَرُ فِي صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ بِالْقِرَاءَةِ كُلِّهَا
