"يَا عَائِشَةُ: عَلَيْكِ بِتَقْوَى الله وَالرِّفْقِ، فَإِنَّ الرِّفْقَ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِى شَئٍ قَطُّ إِلَّا زَانَهُ وَلَا نُزعَ مِنْ شَىْءٍ قَطُّ إِلَّا شَانَهُ".

Whenever there is compassion in something, it adorns it, and when it is removed from something it disgraces it."
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ كُنْتُ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ فِيهِ صُعُوبَةٌ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَيْكِ بِالرِّفْقِ فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَكُونُ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلا زَانَهُ وَلاَ يُنْزَعُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِلا شَانَهُ
Kindness is not to be found in anything but that it adds to its beauty and it is not withdrawn from anything but it makes it defective.
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الرِّفْقَ لاَ يَكُونُ فِي شَىْءٍ إِلاَّ زَانَهُ وَلاَ يُنْزَعُ مِنْ شَىْءٍ إِلاَّ شَانَهُ
Miqdan bin Shuraih reported on the authority of his father. I asked A’ishah about settling in the desert (to worship Allaah in loneliness). She said “The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ would go out (from Madina) to these torrential streams. Once he intended to go out to the desert (for worshipping Allaah). He sent me a She-Camel from the Camels of sadaqah that was not used as a mount. He said to me “A’ishah be lenient, for leniency makes a thing decorated and when it is removed from a thing it makes it defective.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَبْدُو إِلَى هَذِهِ التِّلاَعِ وَإِنَّهُ أَرَادَ الْبَدَاوَةَ مَرَّةً فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَىَّ نَاقَةً مُحَرَّمَةً مِنْ إِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ فَقَالَ لِي يَا عَائِشَةُ ارْفُقِي فَإِنَّ الرِّفْقَ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِي شَىْءٍ قَطُّ إِلاَّ زَانَهُ وَلاَ نُزِعَ مِنْ شَىْءٍ قَطُّ إِلاَّ شَانَهُ
[AI] "He heard her saying, 'I was riding a difficult camel, so I started hitting it.' Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, 'Be gentle, for gentleness beautifies everything and is not removed from anything without spoiling it.'"
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهَا تَقُولُ كُنْتُ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ صَعْبٍ فَجَعَلْتُ أَضْرِبُهُ فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَيْكِ بِالرِّفْقِ فَإِنَّ الرِّفْقَ لَا يَكُونُ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلَّا زَانَهُ وَلَا يُنْزَعُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا شَانَهُ
[AI] Aisha rode a camel and it was difficult for her, so she started complaining. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "Be gentle, for verily, gentleness is not in anything except that it beautifies it, and it is not removed from anything except that it tarnishes it."
رَكِبَتْ عَائِشَةُ بَعِيرًا فَكَانَ مِنْهُ صُعُوبَةٌ فَجَعَلَتْ تُرَدِّدُهُ فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَيْكِ بِالرِّفْقِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَكُ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلَّا زَانَهُ وَلَا يُنْزَعُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا شَانَهُ
ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ الرِّفْقَ مِمَّا يُزَيِّنُ الْأَشْيَاءَ وَضِدَّهُ يُشِينُهَا
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to look towards this hill and said to me, "O Aisha, indeed gentleness is not present in anything except that it beautifies it, and it is not removed from anything except that it makes it ugly."
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَبْدُو إِلَى هَذِهِ التِّلَاعِ وَقَالَ لِي «يَا عَائِشَةُ فَإِنَّ الرِّفْقَ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِي شَيْءٍ قَطُّ إِلَّا زَانَهُ وَلَا نُزِعَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا شَانَهُ»
ذِكْرُ الْأَمْرِ بِلُزُومِ الرِّفْقِ فِي الْأَشْيَاءِ إِذْ دَوَامُهُ عَلَيْهِ زِينَتُهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ
[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ who said: "Gentleness does not beautify anything, except that it spoils it. And vulgarity is not present in anything, except that it tarnishes it."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا كَانَ الرِّفْقُ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلَّا زَانَهُ وَلَا كَانَ الْفُحْشُ فِي شَيْءٍ قَطُّ إِلَّا شَانَهُ»
[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Aisha, be gentle, for he who is gentle has never done anything wrong, and he who is not gentle has never done anything right."
النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَا عَائِشَةُ عَلَيْكِ بِالرِّفْقِ فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلَّا زَانَهُ وَلَمْ يُنْزَعْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا شَانَهُ

"عَلَيكَ بالرِّفْقِ، إِنَّ الرِّفْقِ لَا يَكُونَ في شَيء إلا زَانَهُ، ولا يُنْزْعُ منْ شَيءٍ إلا شَانْهُ".
"مَا كَانَ الرِّفْقُ فِي شَيْءٍ إلَّا زَانَهُ ولا نُزِعَ مِنْ شيءٍ إِلَّا شَانَهُ".
