I said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: Are there two prostrations in Surah al-Hajj? He replied: Yes; if anyone does not make two prostrations, he should not recite them.

قَالَ قُلْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَفِي سُورَةِ الْحَجِّ سَجْدَتَانِ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَسْجُدْهُمَا فَلاَ يَقْرَأْهُمَا

"I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Surah Al-Hajj has been esteemed by two prostrations?' He said: 'Yes, and whoever does not prostrate for them, he should not recite them.'"

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فُضِّلَتْ سُورَةُ الْحَجِّ بِأَنَّ فِيهَا سَجْدَتَيْنِ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَسْجُدْهُمَا فَلاَ يَقْرَأْهُمَا

[AI] I heard Uqbah ibn Amir saying, "I asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, is Surah Al-Hajj preferred over the rest of the Quran with its two prostrations?' He replied, 'Yes, so whoever does not prostrate upon them, then they should not recite them.'"

سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَفُضِّلَتْ سُورَةُ الْحَجِّ عَلَى سَائِرِ الْقُرْآنِ بِسَجْدَتَيْنِ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَسْجُدْهُمَا فَلَا يَقْرَأْهُمَا

"I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Surah Al-Hajj has been esteemed by two prostrations?' He said: 'Yes, and whoever does not prostrate for them, he should not recite them.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 578)

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَفُضِّلَتْ سُورَةُ الْحَجِّ عَلَى الْقُرْآنِ بِأَنْ جُعِلَ فِيهَا سَجْدَتَانِ؟ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَسْجُدْهُمَا فَلَا يَقْرَأْهُمَا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Surah Al-Hajj is preferred with two prostrations, so whoever does not prostrate during its recitation, should not recite it." Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in his summary.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «فُضِّلَتْ سُورَةُ الْحَجِّ بِسَجْدَتَيْنِ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَسْجُدْهُمَا فَلَا يَقْرَأْهُمَا» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَفُضِّلَتْ سُورَةُ الْحَجِّ بِسَجْدَتَيْنِ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَسْجُدْهُمَا فَلَا يَقْرَأْهَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A child should not be punished for the actions of his parents, and the punishment of prescribed limits should not be carried out in mosques." Al-Dhahabi remained silent about summarizing it.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا يُقَادُ وَلَدٌ مِنْ وَالِدِهِ وَلَا تُقَامُ الْحُدُودُ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

[AI] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, is Hajj preferred with two prostrations?" He said, "Yes, so whoever does not prostrate in them, should not recite them."
