The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When one of you eats, he should mention Allah's name; if he forgets to mention Allah's name at the beginning, he should say: "In the name of Allah at the beginning and at the end of it." (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3767)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When one of you eats, he should mention Allah's name; if he forgets to mention Allah's name at the beginning, he should say: "In the name of Allah at the beginning and at the end of it."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to eat in his house when a hungry Bedouin came and he fed him with two morsels of food. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If he had mentioned the name of Allah, it would have been sufficient for you all. So, when any one of you eats, let him mention the name of Allah. If he forgets to mention the name of Allah in the beginning, let him say, 'In the name of Allah' in the beginning and at the end."
