"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would fondle one of his wives while she was menstruating, if she wore an Izar (waist wrap) that reached halfway down to the middle of her thighs or to her knees." In the narration of Al-Laith: "Being covered with it."  

النسائي:٢٨٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ وَاللَّيْثِ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ حَبِيبٍ مَوْلَى عُرْوَةَ

[Machine] "Narrated by Maymuna, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , she said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to have intimate relations with his wives while they were menstruating, as long as they were wearing a waist-wrapper that covered halfway down the thighs or the knees.'"  

الطبراني:٢٠٤٨٥ – حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ أَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ حَبِيبٍ مَوْلَى عُرْوَةَ عَنْ مَوْلَاةِ مَيْمُونَةَ
