"Aishah may Allah (SWT) be pleased with her, said: ' When the last ten nights of Ramadan began, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed up at night (for prayer) and he woke his family up and tightened his waist-wrap.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1639)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "I was shown the Night of Decree, then my family woke me up and I forgot it, so seek it in the odd nights of the last ten days."

6.19 [Machine] Seeking Laylat al-Qadr in the ninth, seventh, and fifth
"Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to inform the people about the (date of the) night of decree (Al-Qadr) but there happened a quarrel between two Muslim men. The Prophet ﷺ said, "I came out to inform you about (the date of) the night of Al-Qadr, but as so and so and so and so quarrelled, its knowledge was taken away (I forgot it) and maybe it was better for you. Now look for it in the 7th, the 9th and the 5th (of the last 10 nights of the month of Ramadan)." (Using translation from Bukhārī 49)
The Prophet ﷺ came out to inform us about the Night of Qadr but two Muslims were quarreling with each other. So, the Prophet ﷺ said, "I came out to inform you about the Night of Qadr but such-and-such persons were quarreling, so the news about it had been taken away; yet that might be for your own good, so search for it on the 29th, 27th and 25th (of Ramadan). (Using translation from Bukhārī 2023)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us in Ramadan and said, "Indeed, I was shown this night, but two men were disputing over its exact date. So, seek it on the 9th, 7th, and 5th nights."
I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: So far as Lailat-ul-Qadr is concerned. some persons among you have seen it (in a dream) in the first week and some persons among you have been shown that it is in the last week; so seek it in the last ten (nights). (Using translation from Muslim 1165d)
Some men amongst the companions of the Prophet ﷺ were shown in their dreams that the night of Qadr was in the last seven nights of Ramadan. Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It seems that all your dreams agree that (the Night of Qadr) is in the last seven nights, and whoever wants to search for it (i.e. the Night of Qadr) should search in the last seven (nights of Ramadan). (Using translation from Bukhārī 2015)

6.20 [Machine] The Night of Power and What Night Is It?
I was present at the gathering of Banu Salamah, and I was the youngest of them. They (the people) said: Who will ask the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for us about Laylat al-Qadr? That was the twenty-first of Ramadan. I went out and said the sunset prayer along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I then stood at the door of his house. He passed by me and said: Come in. I entered (the house) and dinner was brought for him. I was prevented from taking food as it was scanty. When he finished his dinner, he said to me: Give me my shoes. He then stood up and I also stood up with him. He said: Perhaps you have some business with me. I said: Yes. Some people of Banu Salamah have sent me to you to ask you about Laylat al-Qadr. He asked: Which night: Is it tonight? I said: Twenty-second. He said: This is the very night. He then withdrew and said: Or the following night, referring to the twenty-third night. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1379)
[Machine] A group of the Ansar (the inhabitants of Medina) said, "Who is the person asking the Messenger of Allah (PBUH)?" It was said, "Abdullah" so I (the narrator) said, "It is me." They said, "Go and ask him about the Night of Qadr (Laylat al-Qadr) for us." So I went until I reached the sunset on the outskirts of the Prophet's (PBUH) abode reciting some of the poetry of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH). Then the Prophet (PBUH) came out and performed the Maghrib prayer. When he finished, I followed him until he entered his house and I was with him. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) then called for his dinner and when he finished, he called for his shoes and said, "I think you have a need." I said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah, so-and-so and so-and-so sent me to ask you about the Night of Qadr." He said, "It is tonight, which is the twenty-second night of Ramadan." I said, "Is it the night of the twenty-second of Ramadan?" He said, "No, rather it is the night of the twenty-third." Abu Abdur-Rahman Musa bin Ya'qub said, "He (Abdullah) was not strong in determining."
6.21 [Machine] The search for Laylat al-Qadr for three remaining nights of the month
[Machine] Abu Bakr said, "I only seek it (Laylat al-Qadr) in the last ten nights after hearing something from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I heard him say, 'Seek it in the last ten nights, on the ninth, seventh, or fifth night that remains.' He also mentioned the third or the last night."
6.22 [Machine] The Invocation of Laylat al-Qadr Until the Last Night
"My father narrated to me: 'The Night of Al-Qadr was mentioned in the presence of Abu Bakrah, so he said: "I do not search for it due to something that I heard from the Messenger of Allah, except for during the last ten (nights); for indeed I heard him say: 'Search for it when nine remain, or; when seven remain, or; when five remain, or; during the last three nights.'" He (Uyainah) said: "During the twenty (nights) of Ramadan, Abu Bakrah used to perform Salat just as he performed Salat during the rest of the year. But when the (last) ten began, he would struggle (performing more Salat during the night)." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 794)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ observed i'tikaf during the middle ten days of Ramadan while seeking Laylat al-Qadr before it was made clear to him. When it had elapsed, he commanded that a shelter be constructed but it was torn down. Then, it was revealed that it was in the last ten days, so he ordered for it to be reconstructed and observed i'tikaf during the last ten days. He then came out to the people and said, "I was informed of the night of Laylat al-Qadr, so I came out to inform you of it, but two men along with Satan came to me and I forgot it. So, seek it in the ninth, seventh, and fifth nights."
6.23 [Machine] The Sign of Laylat al-Qadr
[Machine] "In the month of Ramadan, it is (known) as the twenty-seventh night. Then (someone) swore and said that it is definitely the twenty-seventh night. I asked, 'By what sign do you say that, O Abu Al-Mundhir?' He said, 'By the sign that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ informed us about, that it rises that day with no rays of light.' (Hadith number 402) Ya'qub bin Ibrahim reported to us from Sufyan, from 'Asim, from Zirr who said (something similar). Ya'qub bin Ibrahim reported to us from Sufyan, from Ibn Abi Khalid, from Zirr who said (something similar)."

[Machine] I heard Ubayy say, "I know the night, it is the twenty-seventh night. It is the night that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ informed us about. It appears in its morning whiteness as if it were a smooth plate without a ray." Abu Abdur Rahman al-Ajlani said, "It is not that strong." And he had a bad opinion.
[Machine] Narrated by a man from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ that he said, "I looked at the moon on the night of Al-Qadr and I saw it as if it was split into two halves." Abu Ishaq said, "That could only be the morning of the twenty-third (of Ramadan)."

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever established prayers on the night of Qadr out of sincere faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven; and whoever fasts in the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith, and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven."
The Prophet ﷺ as saying: If anyone fasts during Ramadan because of faith and in order to seek his reward from Allah, his previous sins will be forgiven to him. If anyone prays in the night of the power (lailat al-qadr) because of faith and in order to seek his reward from Allah his previous sins will be forgiven for him. Abu Dawud said: This tradition has been transmitted in a similar manner by Yahya b. Abi Kathir and Muhammad b. 'Amr from Abu Salamah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1372)

"The Messenger of Allah used to encourage (us) to pray Qiyam during Ramadan, without insisting on that, and he said: 'Whoever spends the nights of Ramadan in prayer (Qiyam) out of faith and in the hope of reward, he will be forgiven his previous sins' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2198)

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to encourage people to observe Ramadan without explicitly commanding them to do so. He would say, "Whoever observes Ramadan with faith and seeking reward will have their past sins forgiven." Abu Abdul Rahman Ishaq ibn Rashid said, "He is not the strongest in narration among Al-Zuhri and Musa ibn A'yan, but he is trustworthy."

6.25 [Machine] The Night of Decree in every Ramadan
[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, tell me about the Night of Qadr. Is it in every Ramadan?" He said, "Yes." I said, "Do you then join the ranks of the prophets and are raised with them when they are raised, or is it until the Day of Resurrection?" He said, "No, rather until the Day of Resurrection." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ narrated and I became unmindful of what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, so I said, "By my father and mother, which Ramadan is it?" He said, "In the first ten days and the last ten days." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ narrated and I became unmindful of what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, so I said, "By my father and mother, O Messenger of Allah, which of the twenty days is it?" He said, "In the last ten days." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ narrated and I became unmindful of what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, so I said, "By my father and mother, O Messenger of Allah, I swear by my right upon you, when is it?" He became angry, a type of anger that he had not had before. Then he said, "In the last seven days. Do not ask me about anything after that."
