“I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reciting the Talbiyah when he entered Ihram with something applied to his head to keep the hair together.’”
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُهِلُّ مُلَبِّدًا
“I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reciting the Talbiyah when he entered Ihram with something applied to his head to keep the hair together.’”

I heard that Messenger of Allah ﷺ assumed Ihram with his hair matted together.

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Zuhri with the same chain of transmitters.
وَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ
Ibn ʿUmar said that he heard the Prophet (SWAS) say with hair matted that he raised his voice in the talbiyah.
سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُهِلُّ مُلَبِّدًا
"I saw the Messenger of Allah entering Ihram with his hair matted.
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُهِلُّ مُلَبِّدًا
“I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘The (funeral) prayer should be offered for a child.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1507)
أَنَّهُ قَالَ «مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَى الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُهُ»

«الشَّقِيُّ مَنْ شَقِيَ فِي بَطْنِ أُمِّهِ وَالسَّعِيدُ مَنْ وُعِظَ بِغَيْرِهِ» فَأَتَيْتُ حُذَيْفَةَ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِقَوْلِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ فَقَالَ وَمَا يُنْكَرُ هَذَا يَا ابْنَ وَاثِلَةَ وَأَنَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُهُ
"I saw the Messenger of Allah entering Ihram with his hair matted. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2683)
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «يُهِلُّ مُلَبِّدًا»
