[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked at the sky one day and said, "This is the time when knowledge is being raised." A man from the Ansar, known as Labid bin Ziyad, said, "O Messenger of Allah, is knowledge being raised even though it has been firmly established and the hearts have embraced it?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "If it were not for considering you as one of the most knowledgeable people of Madinah, I would have thought otherwise. Then he mentioned the Jews and the Christians regarding what they have in their hands from the Book of Allah. He said, "So I met Shaddad bin Aws and I told him about the conversation of Awf bin Malik. He said, "Awf spoke the truth. Shall I guide you to the first part of that?" He said, "Humility is raised until you do not see anyone who is humble."

[Machine] He (the Prophet Muhammad) said: While we were sitting with the Messenger of Allah one day, he looked at the sky and then said, "This is the time for knowledge to be uplifted." A man from the Ansar, known as Ziyad bin Labid, asked him, "Will knowledge be uplifted, O Messenger of Allah, when we have the Book of Allah with us, which we have taught to our children and women?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If I did not think you were one of the most knowledgeable people in Madinah, I would have mentioned the deviation of the people of the two Books (Jews and Christians) and what they have with them from the Book of Allah. Then Jubair bin Nufair and Shaddad bin Aws met him in the mosque, and Jubair narrated this Hadith from Auf bin Malik. He said, "Auf spoke the truth." Then the Prophet asked, "Do you know what the lifting of knowledge means?" I said, "I do not know." He said, "It is the disappearance of its vessels." I asked, "Do you know which knowledge will be lifted first?" He said, "I do not know." He said, "Humility until you can barely see someone in prostration."

[Machine] He (the narrator) said, Al-Awf bin Malik al-Ashja'i reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, looked at the sky one day and said, "This is the time when knowledge is raised." A man from the Ansar, known as Ibn Labid, said, "O Messenger of Allah, how is knowledge raised when it has been established in the Book and firmly established in the hearts?" The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, "If only I considered you one of the most knowledgeable people of Madinah." Then he mentioned the misguidance of the Jews and the Christians regarding what they have in their hands from the Book of Allah. He said, "So I met Shaddad ibn Aws and I informed him of the hadith of Awf bin Malik." Shaddad ibn Aws said, "Awf spoke the truth. Should I inform you of the first thing to be raised?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Humility until you do not see a person in a state of fear and awe." I said, "This is correct." The two sheikhs (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) have relied on all of its narrators, and the witness to that is Shaddad ibn Aws, as Jubayr bin Nufayr has heard the hadith from both of them collectively. And it is also confirmed by a third companion, which is Abu Darda.
