[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to make the mosques our homes and commanded us to clean them.

أحمد:٢٠١٨٤ – حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ

أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَتَّخِذَ الْمَسَاجِدَ فِي دِيَارِنَا وَأَمَرَنَا أَنْ نُنَظِّفَهَا

ahmad:23146 – Yaʿqūb from my father > Ibn Isḥāq > ʿUmar b. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUrwah b. al-Zubayr from his grandfather ʿUrwah ʿAmman

[Machine] From the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , it is narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to instruct us to build mosques in our homes and to repair and purify them.

أحمد:٢٣١٤٦ – حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عُرْوَةَ عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ

مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نَصْنَعَ الْمَسَاجِدَ فِي دُورِنَا وَأَنْ نُصْلِحَ صَنْعَتَهَا وَنُطَهِّرَهَا

tabarani:7026 – ʿAbdān > Duḥaym > Yaḥyá b. Ḥassān > Sulaymān b. Mūsá > Jaʿfar b. Saʿd > Khubayb b. Sulaymān from his father > Samurah

After (praising Allah and blessing the Prophet) that: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command us to build mosques in our localities and keep them well and clean. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 456)

الطبراني:٧٠٢٦ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ ثنا دُحَيْمٌ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى نا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي خُبَيْبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَأْمُرُ بِالْمَسَاجِدِ أَنْ نَصْنَعَهَا فِي دِيَارِنَا وَنُصْلِحَ صَنْعَتَهَا وَنُطَهِّرَهَا»
