[Machine] We were with the Prophet ﷺ when he asked, "Is there anyone among you who is a stranger?," meaning the People of the Book. We replied, "No, O Messenger of Allah." He then ordered the door to be closed and said, "Raise your hands and say, 'There is no god but Allah.'" So, we raised our hands for a moment, and then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ placed his hand down and said, "Praise be to Allah. O Allah, you have sent me with this word, commanded me with it, and promised me Paradise for it. And indeed, You do not fail in Your promise." Then he said, "Rejoice, for indeed Allah has forgiven you."

كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ هَلْ فِيكُمْ غَرِيبٌ؟ يَعْنِي أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ فَقُلْنَا لَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَأَمَرَ بِغَلْقِ الْبَابِ وَقَالَ ارْفَعُوا أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَقُولُوا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَرَفَعْنَا أَيْدِيَنَا سَاعَةً ثُمَّ وَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَدَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ اللهُمَّ بَعَثْتَنِي بِهَذِهِ الْكَلِمَةِ وَأَمَرْتَنِي بِهَا وَوَعَدْتَنِي عَلَيْهَا الْجَنَّةَ وَإِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَبْشِرُوا فَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ قَدْ غَفَرَ لَكُمْ

[Machine] "We were in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he said, 'Is there a stranger among you?' meaning the people of the Book. We replied, 'No, O Messenger of Allah.' He then ordered the door to be closed and said, 'Raise your hands and say, "There is no god but Allah." ' We raised our hands for a while, then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ placed his hand down and said, 'All praise is due to Allah. O Allah, you have sent me with this word, commanded me to follow it, and promised me Paradise in return for it. Surely, you do not break your promise.' Then he said, 'Rejoice, for surely Allah has forgiven you.'"

إِنَّا لَعِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذْ قَالَ «هَلْ فِيكُمْ غَرِيبٌ؟» يَعْنِي أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ قُلْنَا لَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَأَمَرَ بِغَلْقِ الْبَابِ فَقَالَ «ارْفَعُوا أَيْدِيكُمْ فَقُولُوا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ» فَرَفَعْنَا أَيْدِيَنَا سَاعَةً ثُمَّ وَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَدَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ «الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ بَعَثْتَنِي بِهَذِهِ الْكَلِمَةِ وَأَمَرَتْنِي بِهَا وَوَعَدْتَنِي عَلَيْهَا الْجَنَّةَ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ» ثُمَّ قَالَ «أَبْشِرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ غَفَرَ لَكُمْ»

[Machine] I used to be with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the house of a man from his companions. He said, "Look, is there anyone among you except yourselves?" They said, "No." He said, "Close the door." Then he said, "Raise your hands and say, 'There is no god but Allah.' " So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hands and we raised our hands. Then he said, "Put down your hands and rejoice, for indeed your sins have been forgiven. Surely, I have been sent with it, and I have been commanded with it, and upon it I will enter Paradise."

إِنِّي لَمَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ فَقَالَ «انْظُرُوا هَلْ فِيكُمْ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ؟» فَقَالُوا لَا فَقَالَ «أَحَفِ الْبَابَ» فَأَغْلَقَ الْبَابَ ثُمَّ قَالَ ارْفَعُوا أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَقُولُوا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَرَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَرَفَعْنَا أَيْدِيَنَا ثُمَّ قَالَ «ضَعُوا أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَبْشِرُوا فَقَدْ غُفِرَ لَكُمْ إِنِّي بُعِثْتُ بِهَا وَبِهَا أُمِرْتُ وَعَلَيْهَا أَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ»

وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ فِيكُمْ غَرِيبٌ يَعْنِي أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ فَقُلْنَا لَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَأَمَرَ بِغَلْقِ الْبَابِ وَقَالَ ارْفَعُوا أَيْدِيكُمْ فَقُولُوا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَرَفَعْنَا أَيْدِيَنَا سَاعَةً ثُمَّ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ بَعَثْتَنِي بِهَذَا الْكَلِمَةِ وَأَمَرَتْنِي بِهَا وَوَعَدْتَنِي عَلَيْهَا الْجَنَّةَ وَإِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَبْشِرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ غَفَرَ لَكُمْ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ

"ارفَعُوا أيديَكُم، وقولوا: لا إله إلَّا اللهُ، فرفعنا أيدِيَنا ساعة ثمَّ وضعَ ﷺ يَده ثمَّ قال: الحمد للهِ، اللهم إنكَ بَعَثْتَنِى بهذه الكلمةِ وأمرتنى بِها؛ ووعدتنى عليها الجنَّةَ، وإِنَّكَ لا تُخْلِف الميعادَ. ثمَّ قال: أَلا أبْشِرُوا، فإِن الله قد غَفَرَ لكم".
