البزّار:٢٠٦٧ – حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ؓ

قَالَ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اقْرَأِ الْقُرْآنَ فِي شَهْرٍ

The Prophet ﷺ asked me, "How long does it take you to finish the recitation of the whole Qur'an?"

tirmidhi:2947 – Abū Bakr b. Abū al-Naḍr al-Baghdādī > ʿAlī b. al-Ḥasan > Ibn Shaqīq > ʿAbdullāh b. al-Mubārak > Maʿmar > Simāk b. al-Faḍl > Wahbb. Munabbih > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr

that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Recite the Qur'an in forty (days)."

الترمذي:٢٩٤٧ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي النَّضْرِ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ هُوَ ابْنُ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَهُ اقْرَإِ الْقُرْآنَ فِي أَرْبَعِينَ

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ وَ قَدْ رَوَى بَعْضُهُمْ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو أَنْ يَقْرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ فِي أَرْبَعِينَ

darimi:594 – Muḥammad b. Saʿīd > ʿAbd al-Salām > ʿAbdullāh b. al-Walīd al-Muzanī > ʿUbayd b. al-Ḥasan

الدارمي:٥٩٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَنبَأَنَا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ الْمُزَنِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ قَسَمَ مُصْعَبُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ مَالًا فِي قُرَّاءِ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ حِينَ دَخَلَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ فَبَعَثَ إِلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَعْقِلٍ بِأَلْفَيْ دِرْهَمٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ اسْتَعِنْ بِهَا فِي شَهْرِكَ هَذَا فَرَدَّهَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَعْقِلٍ

وَقَالَ لَمْ نَقْرَأِ الْقُرْآنَ لِهَذَا
