[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When a fly falls into the vessel of any one of you, let him dip it (in the vessel) completely and then remove it, for one of its wings has a disease and the other has the cure." And 'Amr bin 'Ali narrated it to Ibn 'Ajlan, on the authority of Al-Qa'qa' bin Hakim from Abu Salih, on the authority of Abu Hurairah in a similar manner.  

البيهقي:١١٩١أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ بُرْهَانَ وَأَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ قَالَا ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءً وَفِي الْآخَرِ شِفَاءً وَإِنَّهُ يَتَّقِي بِالْجَنَاحِ الَّذِي فِيهِ الدَّاءُ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ كُلَّهُ ثُمَّ لِيَنْزِعْهُ وَرَوَاهُ عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ بِنَحْوِهِ

[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ and from Habib ibn Al-Shahid, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "If a fly falls into one of your containers, immerse it in it, for indeed in one of its wings there is a disease, and in the other wing there is a cure." And Affan said once: "Indeed, in one of its wings there is..."

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "When a fly falls into the vessel of any one of you, let him immerse it, for indeed in one of its wings there is a disease and in the other there is a cure." Abu Muhammad said, "Except for Hammaad, Thumamah, and Anas in the place of Abu Hurayrah, and a group that says it is from al-Qaqa' (another narrator) from Abu Hurayrah." And the narration of Ubayd ibn Hunayn is the most authentic.

"إِذَا وقَعَ الذُّبابُ في إناء أحدكُمْ فليغْمِسْهُ فإِنَّ في أحد جناحَيه داءً وفي الآخرِ شفاءً، وإنَّه يَتَّقى بجناحِه الَّذِي فيه الدَّاءُ، فَليغْمِسْه كلَّه، ثم ليَنْزِعْهُ" .
