Whenever the Prophet ﷺ started a journey before noon, he used to delay the Zuhr prayer till the time of ʿAsr and then offer them together; and if the sun declined (at noon) he used to offer the Zuhr prayer and then ride (for the journey).

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ هَاتَيْنِ الصَّلاَتَيْنِ فِي السَّفَرِ يَعْنِي الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ

the Messenger of Allah joined Maghrib and Isha in Jam (Al-Muzdalifah).

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بِجَمْعٍ

the Prophet joined Maghrib and Isha in Jam (Al-Muzdalifah).

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بِجَمْعٍ

the Messenger of Allah joined Maghrib and Isha in Jam (Al-Muzdalifah). (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3026)

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ بِجَمْعٍ فَجَمَعَ بَيْنَهُمَا»

the Messenger of Allah joined Maghrib and Isha in Jam (Al-Muzdalifah). (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3026)

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ يَعْنِي بِجَمْعٍ »

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to combine the prayers during travel, for Maghrib and Isha, and also Dhuhr and Asr.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الصَّلاتَيْنِ فِي السَّفَرِ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ وَالظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ combined the Dhuhr and Asr prayers, and the Maghrib and Isha prayers while traveling and while residing.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ فِي السَّفَرِ وَالْحَضَرِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ gathered between the two prayers on the day he fought against the Banu Mustaliq.

جَمَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ يَوْمَ غَزَا بَنِي الْمُصْطَلِقِ

What prompted him to do this? He said: He wanted that his Ummah should not be put to (unnecessary) hardship. (Using translation from Muslim 705c)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ فِي السَّفَرِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gathered between the prayers on the day of the expedition against the Banu Mustaliq.

جَمَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ يَوْمَ غَزَا بَنِي الْمُصْطَلِقِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to combine Dhuhr (afternoon prayer) with Asr (late afternoon prayer), and Maghrib (evening prayer) with Isha (night prayer) during travel.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ فِي السَّفَرِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ حَجَّةٍ وَعُمْرَةٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ combined the two prayers with a congregation.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ بِجَمْعٍ

[AI] I asked Aisha, "Did the Prophet (PBUH) recite multiple Surahs in one unit of prayer?" She answered, "Yes, he did."

قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ هَلْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ السُّوَرِ فِي رَكْعَةٍ؟ قَالَتْ الْمُفَصَّلُ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Da'ud ibn al-Husayn from al- Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ joined dhuhr and asr on his journey to Tabuk.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ فِي سَفَرِهِ إِلَى تَبُوكَ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ combined dhuhr (midday prayer) with asr (afternoon prayer), and maghrib (evening prayer) with isha (night prayer) during travel.

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ فِي السَّفَرِ»

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed in the house between the two pillars."

«صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي الْبَيْتِ بَيْنَ السَّارِيَتَيْنِ»

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الصَّلاتَيْنِ فِي السَّفَرِ وَيَقُولُ من السنة

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to combine the prayers during travel.

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ فِي السَّفَرِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to combine between the prayers while traveling, combining the noon and afternoon prayers and the evening and night prayers.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ فِي السَّفَرِ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to combine prayers during travel, specifically the Dhuhr and Asr prayers, and the Maghrib and Isha prayers. He would not seek an enemy, nor would an enemy seek him.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «كَانَ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ فِي السَّفَرِ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ وَلَيْسَ يَطْلُبُ عَدُوًّا وَلَا يَطْلُبُهُ عَدُوٌّ»

[AI] The prophet ﷺ combined between the two prayers in the battle of Bani Mustaliq.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ فِي غَزْوَةِ بَنِي الْمُصْطَلِقِ»

[AI] "It is from the Sunnah to combine prayers while traveling."

«مِنَ السُّنَّةِ الْجَمْعُ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ فِي السَّفَرِ»

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed both Hajj and Umrah together."

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ حَجَّةٍ وَعُمْرَةٍ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ used to delay the Dhuhr prayer when he wanted to combine it with the Asr prayer while traveling, until the beginning of the Asr prayer time.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَجْمَعَ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ فِي السَّفَرِ أَخَّرَ الظُّهْرَ حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ أَوَّلُ وَقْتِ الْعَصْرِ

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would combine Dhuhr and Asr prayers while traveling, when he was on the back of his mount. And he would also combine Maghrib and Isha prayers.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ فِي السَّفَرِ إِذَا كَانَ عَلَى ظَهْرِ سَيْرِهِ وَيَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ

[AI] He used to combine prayers while traveling and say it is a recommended practice.

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ فِي السَّفَرِ وَيَقُولُ هِيَ سُنَّةٌ

"كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالعَصْرِ، وَالمغْرِب وَالعشَاء فِى السَّفَرِ".

" عَنْ جَابِرٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الصَّلاَتَيْنِ فِى السَّفَرِ: الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ".

" عَنْ جَابِرٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ بِأَذَانٍ وِإقَامَتَيْنِ ".

"عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الصَّلاَتَيْنِ فِى السَّفَرِ، بَيْنَ المَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ، وَالظُّهْرِ وَالعَصْرِ".

"عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ أنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ كَانَ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الصَّلاَتَيْنِ فِى السَّفْرِ وَيَقُولُ: هِىَ السُّنَّةُ".

"أَنَّ النَّبىَّ ﷺ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الصَّلاَتَيْنِ فِى غَزْوَةِ بَنِى الْمُصْطَلق".
