الطبراني:١٢٨٢٦ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ثنا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

«مِنَ السُّنَّةِ الْجَمْعُ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ فِي السَّفَرِ»

What prompted him to do this? He said: He wanted that his Ummah should not be put to (unnecessary) hardship. (Using translation from Muslim 705c)  

أحمد:٣٢٨٨ – حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ فِي السَّفَرِ  

ahmad:6694 – Yazīd > Ḥajjāj > ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb from his father from his grandfather
