The Prophet ﷺ said, "Every prophet used to have a Hawari (i.e. disciple), and my Hawari is Az-Zubair bin Al-ʿAwwam."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيًّا وَإِنَّ حَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ

"I heard 'Umar bin Al-Khattab say: 'There is no more emigration (Hijrah) after the death of the Messenger of Allah."'

سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ يَقُولُ لاَ هِجْرَةَ بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "Here I am (at your service), responding to the call for 'umrah and hajj."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَبَّيْكَ بِعُمْرَةٍ وَحَجٍّ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, every prophet has a disciple, and my disciple is Al-Zubair."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيًّا وَإِنَّ حَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The world will not perish until Luka' becomes the son of Luka'."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا تَذْهَبُ الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى تَكُونَ لِلُكَعِ ابْنِ لُكَعٍ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said: "Every Prophet has a disciple, and Zubair is my disciple, and Ibn 'Amma (cousin) is my disciple."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيٌّ وَالزُّبَيْرُ حَوَارِيَّ وَابْنُ عَمَّتِي

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "After me, none of you should feel sorry except the patient ones."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا يَحِنُّ عَلَيْكُنَّ بَعْدِي إِلَّا الصَّابِرُونَ

Yahya related to me from Yahya ibn Said that Umar ibn al-Khattab asked a man what his name was. He said, "Jamra (live coal)." "The son of who?" He said, "Ibn Shihab (meteor, flame)." "From whom?" He said, "From al-Huraqa (burning)." "Where do you live?" He said, "At Harrat an-Nar (lava field of the fire). "At which one of them?" He said, "At Dhati Ladha (one with flames)." Umar said, "Go and look at your family - they have been burned." Yahya added, "It was as Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said."

أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ مَا اسْمُكَ فَقَالَ جَمْرَةُ فَقَالَ ابْنُ مَنْ فَقَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ قَالَ مِمَّنْ قَالَ مِنَ الْحُرَقَةِ قَالَ أَيْنَ مَسْكَنُكَ قَالَ بِحَرَّةِ النَّارِ قَالَ بِأَيِّهَا قَالَ بِذَاتِ لَظًى قَالَ عُمَرُ أَدْرِكْ أَهْلَكَ فَقَدِ احْتَرَقُوا قَالَ فَكَانَ كَمَا قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رضى الله عنه

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "If there were to be a prophet after me, it would have been Umar ibn Al-Khattab."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَوْ كَانَ بَعْدِي نَبِيٌّ لَكَانَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ»

[AI] We were with Ali when Ibn Jurmuz came to seek permission from him. Ali said, "Do you intend to kill the son of Safiyyah to show off?" Grant him permission and give him glad tidings of Hell. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Every prophet has a disciple, and indeed Zubair is my disciple, and the son of my cousin."

كُنَّا عِنْدَ عَلِيٍّ فَجَاءَ ابْنُ جُرْمُوزٍ يَسْتَأْذِنُ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ أَتَقْتُلُ ابْنَ صَفِيَّةَ تَفَخُّرًا؟ ائْذَنُوا لَهُ وَبِشِّرُوهُ بِالنَّارِ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيٌّ وَإِنَّ الزُّبَيْرَ حَوَارِيَّ وَابْنُ عَمَّتِي»

[AI] "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Every prophet has a disciple, and my disciple is Al-Zubayr.'"

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيٌّ وَإِنَّ حَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Remorse is repentance." He (the person being addressed) said, "Yes."

سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «النَّدَمُ تَوْبَةٌ»؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Umar ibn Al-Khattab is one of the people of Paradise."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Every prophet has disciples, and the disciple of the Prophet Muhammad is Al-Zubair."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيٌّ وَحَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Ammar ibn Yasir, "The rebellious group will kill you."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِعَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ ؓ «تَقْتُلُكَ الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ»

[AI] "He resembled the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , al-Hasan ibn Ali."

«كَانَ أَشْبَهَهُمْ بِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ؓ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Every prophet has a disciple, and Zubair is a disciple from my nation."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيٌّ وَالزُّبَيْرُ حَوَارِيَّ مِنْ أُمَّتِي»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Meet the sandals."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «قَابِلُوا النِّعَالَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If there were to be a prophet after me, it would have been 'Umar ibn Al-Khattab."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَوْ كَانَ نَبِيٌّ بَعْدِي لَكَانَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ»

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If there were to be a prophet after me, it would be 'Umar."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَوْ كَانَ بَعْدِي نَبِيٌّ لَكَانَ عُمَرَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If there were to be a prophet after me, it would be Umar ibn al-Khattab."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَو كَانَ بَعْدِي نَبِيٌّ كَانَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Umrah is a reward."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْعُمْرَى جَائِزَةٌ»

[AI] "Umar ibn al-Khattab said..."

عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ

[AI] This is how Umar ibn Al-Khattab used to pray it.

كَذَلِكَ كَانَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ يُصَلِّيهَا

[AI] "About Abdullah bin Umar bin Khattab."

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ and the narration of the servant about Umar ibn al-Khattab.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَحَدِيثُ الْعَبْدِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ

[AI] About Amir al-Mu'minin Umar ibn al-Khattab.

عَنْ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ

"إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نبىٍّ حَوَارِيًا، وَإنَّ حَوَارىِّ الزبيرُ وابنُ عَمَّتِى ".

"لَنْ يَحْنُوَ عَلَيكنَّ بَعْدِى إِلَّا الصَّالِحُون".

"لَوْ كَانَ بَعْدِى نَبِيٌّ لَكَان عُمَرُ بْنُ الخَطَّابِ".

" (لَوْ كَانَ بَعْدِى نَبِيٌّ لَكنتَهُ) قاله لعمر".

"لَا يَحْنُو عَلَيكُنَّ بَعْدِي إلا الصَّابِرُونَ -قَالهُ لأَزْوَاجِهِ-".

"عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ: لَوْ كَانَ بَعْدِى نَبِىٌّ لَكُنْتَ".
