If you so like, you may go to the camels of Sadaqa and drink their milk and urine. They did so and were all right. They then fell upon the shepherds and killed them and turned apostates from Islam and drove off the camels of the Prophet ﷺ. This news reached Allah's Apostle ﷺ and he sent (people) on their track and they were (brought) and handed over to him. He (the Holy Prophet) got their hands cut off, and their feet, and put out their eyes, and threw them on the stony ground until they died.  

أَنَّ نَاسًا مِنْ عُرَيْنَةَ قَدِمُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْمَدِينَةَ فَاجْتَوَوْهَا فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنْ شِئْتُمْ أَنْ تَخْرُجُوا إِلَى إِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ فَتَشْرَبُوا مِنْ أَلْبَانِهَا وَأَبْوَالِهَا فَفَعَلُوا فَصَحُّوا ثُمَّ مَالُوا عَلَى الرِّعَاءِ فَقَتَلُوهُمْ وَارْتَدُّوا عَنِ الإِسْلاَمِ وَسَاقُوا ذَوْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَبَعَثَ فِي أَثْرِهِمْ فَأُتِيَ بِهِمْ فَقَطَعَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَرْجُلَهُمْ وَسَمَلَ أَعْيُنَهُمْ وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِي الْحَرَّةِ حَتَّى مَاتُوا  

Some people from 'Uraynah came to the Messenger of Allah [SAW], but the climate of Al-Madinah did not suit them. The Prophet [SAW] sent them to some camels of his, and he drank some of their milk and urine. When they recovered, they apostatized from Islam and killed the herdsman of the Messenger of Allah [SAW], who was a believer, and drove the camels off. The Messenger of Allah [SAW] sent (men) after them, and they were caught. He had their hands and feet cut off, their eyes gouged out, and had them crucified.  

أَنَّ نَاسًا مِنْ عُرَيْنَةَ قَدِمُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَاجْتَوَوُا الْمَدِينَةَ فَبَعَثَهُمُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِلَى ذَوْدٍ لَهُ فَشَرِبُوا مِنْ أَلْبَانِهَا وَأَبْوَالِهَا فَلَمَّا صَحُّوا ارْتَدُّوا عَنِ الإِسْلاَمِ وَقَتَلُوا رَاعِيَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مُؤْمِنًا وَاسْتَاقُوا الإِبِلَ فَبَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي آثَارِهِمْ فَأُخِذُوا فَقَطَّعَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَرْجُلَهُمْ وَسَمَلَ أَعْيُنَهُمْ وَصَلَبَهُمْ  

"Some people from 'Uraynah came to the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and the Messenger of Allah [SAW] said to them: 'Why don't you go out to our camels and stay with them and drink their milk and urine?' So they did that, and when they recovered, they went to the herdsman of the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and killed him, reverted to being disbelievers, and drove off the camels of the Prophet [SAW]. He sent (men) after them, and they were brought to him. He had their hands and feet cut off, and their eyes gouged out."  

قَدِمَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أُنَاسٌ مِنْ عُرَيْنَةَ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَوْ خَرَجْتُمْ إِلَى ذَوْدِنَا فَكُنْتُمْ فِيهَا فَشَرِبْتُمْ مِنْ أَلْبَانِهَا وَأَبْوَالِهَا فَفَعَلُوا فَلَمَّا صَحُّوا قَامُوا إِلَى رَاعِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَتَلُوهُ وَرَجَعُوا كُفَّارًا وَاسْتَاقُوا ذَوْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَرْسَلَ فِي طَلَبِهِمْ فَأُتِيَ بِهِمْ فَقَطَّعَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَرْجُلَهُمْ وَسَمَلَ أَعْيُنَهُمْ  

"Some people from 'Uraynah came to the Messenger of Allah [SAW], but the climate of Al-Madinah did not suit them. The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said to them: 'Why don't you go out to our camels and drink their milk?'" - (one of the narrators) Qatadah said: 'And their urine.' - "So they went out to the camels of the Messenger of Allah [SAW], but when they recovered they killed the herdsman of the Messenger of Allah [SAW], who was a believer, and drove off the camels of the Messenger of Allah [SAW], and left as those at war. He sent (men) after them and they were caught. Then he had their hands and feet cut off, and branded their eyes."

"Some people from 'Uraynah became Muslim, but the climate of Al-Madinah did not suit them. The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said to them: 'Why don't you go out to some camels of ours and drink their milk?'" - (one of the narrators) Humaid said: "And Qatadah said, narrating from Anas: 'And their urine.'" - "So they did that, and when they recovered they reverted to disbelief after their Islam, killed the herdsman of the Messenger of Allah [SAW], who was a believer, drove off the camels of the Messenger of Allah [SAW], and fled as those at war. Some people or some men from 'Ukl, or 'Uraynah came to the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and said: "O Messenger of Allah, we are herdsmen, not tillers," the climate of Al-Madinah did not suit them. So the Messenger of Allah [SAW] ordered that they be allocated some camels and a herdsman, and he told them to go out with them and drink their milk and urine. When they recovered and they were in the vicinity of Al-Harrah, they reverted to disbelief after their Islam, killed the herdsman of the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and drove off the camels. He sent (men) after them and they were brought, and he had their eyes gouged out, and their hands and feet cut off. Then he left them in Al-Harrah in that state until they died."  

أَنَّ نَاسًا أَوْ رِجَالاً مِنْ عُكْلٍ أَوْ عُرَيْنَةَ قَدِمُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا أَهْلُ ضَرْعٍ وَلَمْ نَكُنْ أَهْلَ رِيفٍ فَاسْتَوْخَمُوا الْمَدِينَةَ فَأَمَرَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِذَوْدٍ وَرَاعٍ وَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يَخْرُجُوا فِيهَا فَيَشْرَبُوا مِنْ لَبَنِهَا وَأَبْوَالِهَا فَلَمَّا صَحُّوا وَكَانُوا بِنَاحِيَةِ الْحَرَّةِ كَفَرُوا بَعْدَ إِسْلاَمِهِمْ وَقَتَلُوا رَاعِيَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَاسْتَاقُوا الذَّوْدَ فَبَعَثَ الطَّلَبَ فِي آثَارِهِمْ فَأُتِيَ بِهِمْ فَسَمَّرَ أَعْيُنَهُمْ وَقَطَّعَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَرْجُلَهُمْ ثُمَّ تَرَكَهُمْ فِي الْحَرَّةِ عَلَى حَالِهِمْ حَتَّى مَاتُوا  

'O Messenger of Allah, we are nomads who follows the herds, not farmers and growers, and the climate of Al-Madinah does not suit us.' So the Messenger of Allah ﷺtold them to go out to a flock of female camels and drink their milk and urine. When they recovered - and they were in the vicinity of Al-Harrah - they apostatized after having become Muslim, killed the camel-herder of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and drove the camels away. News of that reached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he sent people after them. They were brought back, their eyes were smoldered with heated nails, their hands and feet cut off, then they were left in Al-Harrah in that state until they died."

some people from (the tribe of) ʿUrainah came to us (to Al-Madinah) during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, but they did not want to stay in Al-Madinah because the climate did not suit them. He said: “Go out to the camels which belong to us, and drink their milk and urine.” So they did that (and recovered), then they apostatized from Islam and killed the herdsman of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and stole his camels. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent people after them, and they were brought back. Then he cut off their hands and feet, branded their eyes and left them in Harrah until they died.

He sent (men) after them, and they were brought to him. He had their hands and feet cut off, and their eyes gouged out." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4029)  

قَدِمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ نَاسٌ مِنْ عُرَيْنَةَ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَوْ خَرَجْتُمْ إِلَى ذَوْدِنَا فَكُنْتُمْ فِيهَا فَشَرِبْتُمْ مِنْ أَلْبَانِهَا وَأَبْوَالِهَا» فَفَعَلُوا فَلَمَّا صَحُّوا قَامُوا إِلَى رَاعِي رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَتَلُوهُ وَرَجَعُوا كُفَّارًا وَاسْتَاقُوا ذَوْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَرْسَلَ فِي طَلَبِهِمْ فَأُتِيَ بِهِمْ فَقَطَّعَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَرْجُلَهُمْ وَسَمَلَ أَعْيُنَهُمْ  

"Some people from 'Uraynah came to the Messenger of Allah [SAW], but the climate of Al-Madinah did not suit them. The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said to them: 'Why don't you go out to our camels and drink their milk?'" - (one of the narrators) Qatadah said: 'And their urine.' - "So they went out to the camels of the Messenger of Allah [SAW], but when they recovered they killed the herdsman of the Messenger of Allah [SAW], who was a believer, and drove off the camels of the Messenger of Allah [SAW], and left as those at war. He sent (men) after them and they were caught. Then he had their hands and feet cut off, and branded their eyes." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4030)

لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَوْ خَرَجْتُمْ إِلَى ذَوْدٍ لَنَا فَشَرِبْتُمْ مِنْ أَلْبَانِهَا» قَالَ حُمَيْدٌ قَالَ قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَأَبْوَالِهَا فَفَعَلُوا فَلَمَّا صَحُّوا كَفَرُوا بَعْدَ إِسْلَامِهِمْ وَقَتَلُوا رَاعِيَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مُؤْمِنًا وَاسْتَاقُوا ذَوْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهَرَبُوا مُحَارِبِينَ فَأَرْسَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي آثَارِهِمْ فَأُخِذُوا فَقَطَّعَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَرْجُلَهُمْ وَسَمَرَ أَعْيُنَهُمْ وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِي الْحَرَّةِ حَتَّى مَاتُوا  

If you so like, you may go to the camels of Sadaqa and drink their milk and urine. They did so and were all right. They then fell upon the shepherds and killed them and turned apostates from Islam and drove off the camels of the Prophet ﷺ. This news reached Allah's Apostle ﷺ and he sent (people) on their track and they were (brought) and handed over to him. He (the Holy Prophet) got their hands cut off, and their feet, and put out their eyes, and threw them on the stony ground until they died. (Using translation from Muslim 1671a)   

أَنَّ نَاسًا مِنْ عُرَيْنَةَ قَدِمُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَاجْتَوَوْهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنْ شِئْتُمْ أَنْ تَخْرُجُوا إِلَى إِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ فَتَشْرَبُوا مِنْ أَلْبَانِهَا وَأَبْوَالِهَا فَفْعَلُوا فَصَحُّوا ثُمَّ مَالُوا عَلَى الرِّعَاءِ فَقَتَلُوهُمْ وَارْتَدُّوا عَنِ الْإِسْلَامِ وَاسْتَاقُوا ذَوْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَبَعَثَ فِي أَثَرِهِمْ فَأُتِيَ بِهِمْ فَقَطَّعَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَرْجُلَهُمْ وَسَمَلَ أَعْيُنَهُمْ وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِي الْحَرَّةِ حَتَّى مَاتُوا لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ هُشَيْمٍ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ لَا أَحْفَظُ اشْرَبُوا أَبْوَالَهَا  

" قَدِمَ نَاسٌ مِنْ عُرَيْنَةَ المَدِينةَ فاجْتووْهَا، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنْ شِئْتُمْ أنْ تَخْرُجُوا إِلَى إِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ فَتَشْربُونَ (*) مِنْ أَبْوالِهَا وألبَانِهَا فَفَعَلُوا، واسْتَصْبَحُوا، فَمَالُوا عَلَى الرِّعَاءِ فَقَتلُوهُمْ واسْتَاقُوا ذَوْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَكفَرُوا بَعْدَ إِسْلاَمِهِمْ فَبَعَثَ فِى آثَارِهِم فَأُتِىَ بِهِمْ فَقَطعَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأرْجُلَهُمْ وَسَمَلَ أعْيُنَهُمْ، وَتَركهُمْ بِالحَرَّةِ حَتَّى مَاتُوا".
