[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "Verily, Allah will question His servant on the Day of Resurrection to the extent that He will ask him, 'O My servant, did you see such-and-such evil and did not denounce it?' So, if Allah finds His servant failing in this, He will strengthen his argument against him and the servant will say, 'O Lord, I trusted in You and feared people.'"

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he mentioned a man from those who came before or said from those who were before you. Then he mentioned a word, and its meaning is that Allah gave him wealth and children. When death approached him, he said to his sons, "What kind of a father have I been to you?" They said, "The best of fathers." He said, "Indeed, he has never transgressed any good deed before Allah." Qatadah explained it as follows: He did not save any good deed with Allah, and if Allah had power over him, He would have punished him. So, when I die, burn me until I become charcoal, then crush me or he may have said, grind me. When there is a strong wind, scatter me in it. The Prophet of Allah took their covenant upon that. He said, "So they did that and, by my Lord, when he died, they burned and crushed him, then scattered him on a stormy day." Allah said to him, "Be," and he became a standing man. Allah said, "My servant, what made you do what you did?" He replied, "O Lord, out of fear of You or out of a dispensation from You." He said, "What made you dispute him?" He replied, "Out of mercy for him." He said, "I am pleased with him." He said, "I then narrated it to Abu Uthman, who said, 'I heard this from Salman more than once, except that he added: then cast me into the sea or as he narrated it'."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Paradise and Hell competed with each other. Hell said, 'O Lord, I will be filled with the proud and arrogant, with kings and nobles.' Paradise said, 'O Lord, I will be filled with the poor, weak, and needy.' Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, said to Hell, 'You are My punishment; I will fill you with whomever I will.' And He said to Paradise, 'You are My mercy; your capacity is expansive and can accommodate everything.' Hell will be filled with its inhabitants and it will say, 'Is there more?' until Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, places His foot on it and it will contract and say, 'Enough, enough!' As for Paradise, it will remain as Allah wills it to remain. Then Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, will create from it whatever He wills."

They used to call him the Dajjal (antichrist). One day, while I was descending in a house, Abdullah bin Sayyad saw me sitting and he came and sat next to me. He said, "O Abu Sa'eed, don't you see what these people are doing to me? No one accompanies, follows, feeds or serves me, and they call me the Dajjal. You know, Abu Sa'eed, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The Dajjal will never enter Medina, and I was born in Medina. A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ while we were with him. She said: Messenger of Allah, my husband, Safwan ibn al-Mu'attal, beats me when I pray, and makes me break my fast when I keep a fast, and he does not offer the dawn prayer until the sun rises. He asked Safwan, who was present, about what she had said. He replied: Messenger of Allah, as for her statement "he beats me when I pray", she recites two surahs (during prayer) and I have prohibited her (to do so). He (the Prophet) said: If one surah is recited (during prayer), that is sufficient for the people. (Safwan continued:) As regards her saying "he makes me break my fast," she dotes on fasting; I am a young man, I cannot restrain myself. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said on that day: A woman should not fast except with the permission of her husband. (Safwan said:) As for her statement that I do not pray until the sun rises, we are a people belonging to a class, and that (our profession of supplying water) is already known about us. We do not awake until the sun rises. He said: When you awake, offer your prayer. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2459)

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , that Moses said: "O Lord, how is it that your believing servant is afflicted in this world?" He (God) said: "Then a door from Paradise will be opened for him, and he will look at it." Moses said: "O Lord, this is what you have prepared for him?" Moses continued, "By Your honor and glory, even if his hands and feet were cut off and he was dragged on his face from the day You created him until the Day of Resurrection, this would be his destiny and he would never have seen any hardship." Then Moses asked, "O Lord, what about Your non-believing servant?" He replied: "Then a door from the Hellfire will be opened for him and it will be said, 'This is what I have prepared for him.'" Moses said: "O Lord, even if he had the entire world from the day You created him until the Day of Resurrection, this would be his destiny and he would have never seen any good."

If anyone takes a bath on Friday, puts on his best clothes, applies a touch of perfume if has any, then goes to congregational prayer (in the mosque), and takes care not to step over people, then prayer what Allah has prescribes for him, then keeps silent from the time his Imam comes out until he finishes his prayer, it will atone for his sins during the previous week. Abu Hurairah said: (It will atone for his sins) for three days more. he further said: One is rewarded ten times for doing a good work. Abu Dawud said: The version narrated by Muhammad b. Salamah is perfect, and Hammad did not make a mention of the statement of Abu Hurairah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 343)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If anyone of you has doubt in their prayer and does not know whether they prayed three or four [rak'ahs], they should disregard their doubt and proceed according to what they are certain about. Then they should perform two prostrations before concluding their Salah. Because if they prayed five [rak'ahs], it will make up for their prayer as a whole." Musa said once, "If they prayed five [rak'ahs], they would make up for their prayer. And if they completed four [rak'ahs], they would prevent Satan from harm."
