May Allah uplift him. Then a man came after them and took some of it, but it was cut off from him, then it was restored to him and he acted upon it. May Allah uplift him. Abu Bakr said, "Allow me, O Messenger of Allah, to interpret it." So he allowed him, and Abu Bakr said, "As for the shadow, it is Islam. As for the honey and fat, it is the sweetness of the Quran, and it is between abundance and sufficiency. As for the cause, it is not for you to know, but Allah will uplift you due to it. Then after you, a man will come who will follow your way and be uplifted by Allah. Then after the two of you, a man will come who will take what you have taken and be uplifted by Allah. Then after you, a man will come who will act upon what you and the two before you have acted upon, and he will be uplifted by Allah." Abu Bakr said, "Have I spoken the truth, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "You have spoken the truth and made mistakes." Abu Bakr said, "I have taken an oath, O Messenger of Allah, that you will inform me." He said, "Do not take oaths."
