While we were with Talha b. Ubaidullah and were in the state of Ihram we were presented a (cooked) bird. Talha was sleeping. Some of us ate it and some of us refrained from (eating) it. When Talha awoke he agreed with him who ate it, and said: We ate it along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

وَقَالَ أَكَلْنَاهُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ

I ate the flesh of a bustard along with the Prophet ﷺ.

أَكَلْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَحْمَ حُبَارَى

From his father, from his grandfather that he said: "I ate bustard meat with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."

أَكَلْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَحْمَ حُبَارَى

"we were with Talhah bin Ubaidullah and we were Ihram. A birth was given to him when he was asleep, and some of us at from it and others refrained. Talhah woke up and agreed with those who had eaten it, and said: 'We ate it with Messenger of Allah.'"

وَقَالَ أَكَلْنَاهُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا آكُلُ مُتَّكِئًا»

وَقَالَ أَكَلْنَاهُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ ate a shoulder, then prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] We went on a raid with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and we encountered locusts, so we ate them.

غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَصَبْنَا جَرَادًا فَأَكَلْنَاهُ

[AI] I entered the mosque in Damascus and saw people gathered and a sheikh speaking to them. I asked, "Who is this?" They said, "He is Sahl ibn al-Hanzaliyyah." I heard him saying, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever eats meat, let him perform ablution.'"

دَخَلْتُ مَسْجِدَ دِمَشْقَ فَرَأَيْتُ أُنَاسًا مُجْتَمِعِينَ وَشَيْخًا يُحَدِّثُهُمْ قُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالُوا سَهْلُ ابْنُ الْحَنْظَلِيَّةِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ

That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade earnings of slave-girls. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3425)

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ سَبِّ الْأَمْوَاتِ

[AI] I entered the mosque of Damascus and saw people gathered and a sheikh speaking to them. I asked, "Who is this?" They said, "This is Sahel ibn Al-Hanzaliyyah." So I listened to him saying, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever eats meat, let him perform ablution.'"

دَخَلْتُ مَسْجِدَ دِمَشْقَ فَرَأَيْتُ نَاسًا مُجْتَمِعِينَ وَشَيْخٌ يُحَدِّثُهُمْ قُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالُوا هَذَا سَهْلُ ابْنُ الْحَنْظَلِيَّةِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade (taking hire for) a stallion's covering. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3429)

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ النَّعْيِ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd Aslam from Ata ibn Yasar from Abdullah Abbas that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate a shoulder of lamb and then prayed without doing wudu.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

“I asked Jabir bin ‘Abdullah about hyenas: ‘Are they game (that can be hunted)?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ I said: ‘Can I eat them?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ I said: ‘Is this something that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?’ He said: ‘Yes.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3236)

قُلْتُ أَيُؤْكَلُ الضَّبُعُ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» قُلْتُ أَصَيْدٌ هِيَ؟ قَالَ أَسَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took (the meat of) a (goat's) shoulder and offered prayer and did not perform ablution. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 187)

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفًا فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade naming a dog or Kulayb.

«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّ يُسَمَّى كَلْبٌ أَوْ كُلَيْبٌ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited ploughing the land.

«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ كَرْيِ الْأَرْضِ»

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate a part [of an animal] and then prayed without performing ablution."

«أَكَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عُضْوًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] I entered the mosque of Damascus and saw people gathered and a sheikh speaking to them. So, I asked, "Who is this?" They said, "Sahl ibn Al Hanbalia." I heard him saying, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever eats meat, let him perform ablution.'"

دَخَلْتُ مَسْجِدَ دِمَشْقَ فَرَأَيْتُ نَاسًا مُجْتَمِعِينَ وَشَيْخًا يُحَدِّثُهُمْ فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالُوا سَهْلُ ابْنُ الْحَنْظَلِيَّةِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ ate meat and prayed without performing ablution.

أَكَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَحْمًا وَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard the voices of two men while they were talking.

سَمِعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَوْتَ رَجُلَيْنِ وَهُمَا يَقُولَانِ

[AI] And he said, "So we did with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."

وَقَالَ «فَعَلْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ»

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ forbade exaggeration."

«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْأُغْلُوطَاتِ»

“We were with Talhah bin ‘Ubaidullah ؓ and we were in ihram. We were given a bird as a gift whilst Talhah was sleeping. Some of us ate and some of us refrained and did not eat. When Talhah woke up, he approved of those who had eaten it and said: “We ate it with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 1383)

وَقَالَ «أَكَلْنَاهُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ»

"عَنْ أَبِى بَكْرٍ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأ".

" عَن ابْنِ عَبَّاسِ قَالَ: أَكَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَحْمًا، ثُمَّ صَلَّى ولَمْ يَتَوَضَّأ"
