I saw Malik bin Huwairith saying Takbir and raising both his hands (on starting the prayers and raising his hands on bowing and also on raising his head after bowing. Malik bin Huwairith said, "Messenger of Allah ﷺ did the same."

Abu Qilaba reported that he saw Malik b. Huwairith raising his hands at the beginning of prayer and raising his hands before kneeling down, and raising his hands after lifting his head from the state of kneeling, and he narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do like this.

Abu Dawud said: The narrator Baqiyyah reported the first part of this tradition from ‘Ubaid Allah and traced it back to the Prophet ﷺ; and the narrator al-Thaqafi reported it from ‘Ubaid Allah as a statement of Ibn ‘Umar himself(not from the Porphet). In this version he said: When he stood at the end of two rak’ahs he raised them up to his breasts. And this is the correct version. Abu Dawud said: This tradition has been transmitted as a statement of Ibn ‘Umar (and not of the Prophet) by al-Laith b. Sa’d, Malik, Ayyub, and Ibn Juraij; and this has been narrated as a statement of the Prophet ﷺ by Hammad b. Salamah alone on the authority of Ayyub. Ayyub and Malik did not mention his raising of hands when he stood after two prostrations, but al-Laith mentioned it in his version. كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَذْوَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ صَنَعَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ صَنَعَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ وَإِذَا قَالَ سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ قَالَ رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَا يَصْنَعُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ فِي السُّجُودِ
[AI] He saw his father raising his hands when performing the takbeer, when he wanted to bow, and when he lifted his head from the bow. So I asked him about that and he claimed that he saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ doing it.
أَنَّهُ رَأَى أَبَاهُ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ إِذَا كَبَّرَ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَزَعَمَ أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَصْنَعُهُ
[AI] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raising his hands when he entered the prayer, when he bowed, and when he raised his head from the bowing position, but he did not do that during prostration."
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ إِذَا دَخَلَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ وَلَا يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ فِي السُّجُودِ

عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ إِذَا دَخَلَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ إِلَى أُذُنَيْهِ
It was narrated that Malik bin Huwairith said that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said Allahu Akbar, he would raise his hands until they were close to his ears; when he bowed in Ruku’ he did likewise, and when he raised his head from Ruku’ he did likewise. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 859)

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا دَخَلَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ حَتَّى حَاذَتَا فُرُوعَ أُذُنَيْهِ
Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Salim ibn Abdullah from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messengerof Allah ﷺ used to raise his hands to the level of his shoulders when he began the prayer and when he raised his head from the ruku he raised them in the same way, saying, "Allah hears whoever praises him, our Lord and praise belongs to You." He did not raise them in the sujud.

that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ started to pray, he would raise his hands in level with his shoulders, and when he bowed and when he raised his head from bowing, he would raise them likewise and say "Sami Allahu liman hamidah, Rabbana wa lakal-hamd (Allah hears those who praise Him, our Lord, to You be praise." «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا كَبَّرَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ إِذَا دَخَلَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ حَتَّى يُحَاذِيَ بِهِمَا أُذُنَيْهِ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ»
[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ: "When he started the prayer, he raised his hands, and when he bowed and when he said, 'Allah listens to the one who praises Him', and when he stood up from the two units of prayer, he raised them to his shoulders."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ «أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَإِذَا قَالَ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ وَإِذَا قَامَ مِنَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ رَفَعَهُمَا إِلَى مَنْكِبَيْهِ»
Abu Qilaba reported that he saw Malik b. Huwairith raising his hands at the beginning of prayer and raising his hands before kneeling down, and raising his hands after lifting his head from the state of kneeling, and he narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do like this. أَنَّهُ رَأَى مَالِكَ بْنَ الْحُوَيْرِثِ «إِذَا صَلَّى كَبَّرَ وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ وَحَدَّثَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ هَكَذَا»
The Prophet ﷺ used to raise his hands when he began to pray, when he wanted to bow, when he raised his head from bowing, and when he stood up after the first two rak'ahs, he would raise his hands likewise, level with his shoulders. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1182)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ «أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ إِذَا دَخَلَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ وَإِذَا قَامَ مِنَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ فِي ذَلِكَ كُلِّهِ حَذْوَ الْمَنْكِبَيْنِ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to raise his hands to the level of his shoulders when he would say the takbeer in prayer and when he would bow, he would do the same. And when he would raise his head, he would also do the same. And when he would say "Allah hears the one who praises Him," he would say "Our Lord, to You is the praise" and he would do the same. And he would not do this during prostration.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «كَانَ إِذَا كَبَّرَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حِذَاءَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ» وَإِذَا قَالَ «سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ» قَالَ «رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَفَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ وَلَا يَفْعَلُ فِي السُّجُودِ»
[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ, when he started the prayer, he lifted his hands, and when he bowed and when he raised his head from the bowing position, he did not raise his hands above his ears with them.
