[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "When you conquer Egypt, treat the Copts well, for they have a covenant and mercy."

الطبراني:١٦٢٢٤ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا فَتَحْتُمْ مِصْرَ فَاسْتَوْصُوا بِالْقِبْطِ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ لَهُمْ ذِمَّةً وَرَحِمًا»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you conquer Egypt, treat the Copts well, for they have a pact and a special relationship with us." Az-Zuhri said, "The special relationship means that the mother of Isma'il, Hajar, was from amongst them."

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» على شرط البخاري ومسلم
