الْحَسَنُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ

[Machine] A man from the Ansar freed six slaves upon his death, and he did not possess anything other than them. This news reached the Prophet ﷺ , so he summoned them and distributed them, freeing two and returning four to servitude.  

الطبراني:١٥٥١٩حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عِيسَى الْجَزَرِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا صُهَيْبُ بْنُ عَبَّادِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ أَعْتَقَ رُءُوسًا سِتَّةً عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لِيَمْلِكَ غَيْرَهَمْ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «فَدَعَاهُمْ فَأَقْرَعَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَأَجَازَ اثْنَيْنِ وَرَدَّ أَرْبَعَةً فِي الرِّقِّ»

[Machine] A man from the Ansar freed six heads (slaves) before his death, and he did not have any wealth apart from them. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard about this, he became angry with him. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called him and reprimanded him. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ summoned the slaves and distributed them among themselves; he freed two of them and retained four in slavery.
