I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "If there is any good in your medicines, then it is in a gulp of honey, a cupping operation, or branding (cauterization), but I do not like to be (cauterized) branded.

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنْ كَانَ فِي شَىْءٍ مِنْ أَدْوِيَتِكُمْ خَيْرٌ فَفِي شَرْبَةِ عَسَلٍ أَوْ شَرْطَةِ مِحْجَمٍ أَوْ لَذْعَةٍ مِنْ نَارٍ وَمَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَكْتَوِيَ

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "If there is any good in your medicines, it is in al Shurtah (a type of wooden container), a sip of honey, or a scorch mark with fire that is matched with a disease. And I do not like to get burnt."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنْكَانَ أَوْ إِنْ يَكُنْ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنْ أَدْوِيَتِكُمْ خَيْرٌ فَفِي شَرْطَةِ مِحْجَمٍ أَوْ شَرْبَةِ عَسَلٍ أَوْ لَذْعَةٍ بِنَارٍ تُوَافِقُ دَاءً وَمَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَكْتَوِيَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said three things:

If there is a cure in anything, it is in cautery, drinking honey, or cauterization for pain. However, I dislike cauterization.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ثَلَاثًا إِنْ كَانَ فِي شَيْءٍ شِفَاءٌ فَفِي شَرْطَةِ مِحْجَمٍ أَوْ شَرْبَةِ عَسَلٍ أَوْ كَيَّةٍ تُصِيبُ أَلَمًا وَأَنَا أَكْرَهُ الْكَيَّ وَلَا

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If there is a cure in anything, it is in using a cautery, drinking honey, or cauterizing with fire, causing pain. And I do not like to be cauterized."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنْ كَانَ فِي شَيْءٍ شِفَاءٌ فَفِي شَرْطَةِ مِحْجَمٍ أَوْ شَرْبَةٍ مِنْ عَسَلٍ أَوْ كَيَّةٍ بِنَارٍ تُصِيبُ أَلَمًا وَمَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَكْتَوِيَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If there is any healing in what you apply as a treatment, then it is in cupping, a drink of honey, or branding (cauterization) with fire, but I do not like to be cauterized."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنْ كَانَ فِي شَيْءٍ مِمَّا تَدَاوَوْنَ بِهِ شِفَاءٌ فَشَرْطَةُ مُحْجِمٍ أَوْ شَرْبَةُ عَسَلٍ أَوْ كَيَّةٌ تُصِيبُ وَمَا أُحِبُّهُ إِذَا اكْتَوَى»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If there is a cure in anything, it is in scarification or drinking honey or cauterization, but I do not like to be cauterized."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنْ كَانَ فِي شَيْءٍ شِفَاءٌ فَفِي شَرْطَةِ مِحْجَمٍ أَوْ شَرْبَةِ عَسَلٍ أَوْ كَيَّةٍ وَلَا أَحَبُّ أَنْ أَكْتَوِيَ»

"إِنْ يَك في شَئٍ ممَّا تُعَالَجُونَ بِهِ شِفَاءٌ ففى شَرْطَةِ حَجَّام أَوْ شرْبَةِ عَسَل، أوْ لَذْعَةِ نَار تصِيبُ الدَّاءَ، وَمَا أُحِبُّ أَن أَكْتَوِى".

"إِنْ كانَ فِى شَئٍ شفَاءٌ فَشَرْطَة محْجَم أَوْ شَرْبَةُ عَسَل، أَوْ كَىٌّ يُصِيبُ أَلَمًا وأنَا أَكْرَهُ الكَىَّ وَلَا أُحِبُّهُ" .

"ثَلَاثٌ إِنْ كانَ فِى شَئٍ شِفَاءٌ: فَشَرْطَةُ مِحْجَمٍ، أَوْ شرْبَةُ عَسل، أَوْ كَيَّةٌ تُصِيبُ أَلَمًا -وأَنا أَكْرهُ الْكَىَّ وَلَا أُحِبُّهُ".
