[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, when a leader seeks to attain dishonest gain from the people, he corrupts them."  

الطبراني:١٤٤٣١ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الرَّمْلِيُّ ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ ضَمْضَمِ بْنِ زُرْعَةَ عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ عَبْدٍ وَأَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَا

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الأَمِيرَ إِذَا ابْتَغَى الرِّيبَةَ فِي النَّاسِ أَفْسَدَهُمْ

[Machine] On the authority of Al-Miqdad bin Al-Aswad and Abu Umamah, they said: "Verily, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Indeed, when a ruler seeks bribery among the people, he corrupts them.'"
