ثُوَيْرُ بْنُ أَبِي فَاخِتَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ

tabarani:13947 – al-Faḍl b. al-Ḥubāb al-Jumaḥī > ʿAbdullāh b. Rajāʾ > Isrāʾīl > Thūwayr > ʿAbdullāh b. al-Zubayr

[Machine] I heard Abdullah ibn Zubair say, "This is the day of Ashura, so fast it, for indeed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded its fasting."  

الطبراني:١٣٩٤٧ – حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ ثُوَيْرٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ يَقُولُ «هَذَا يَوْمُ عَاشُورَاءَ فَصُومُوهُ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَرَ بِصِيَامِهِ»
