[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Cleanse these bodies, and Allah will cleanse you. No servant goes to sleep in a state of purity except that an angel rests in his turban. Whenever he turns during the night, the angel says, 'O Allah, forgive your servant as he went to sleep in a state of purity.'"  

الطبراني:١٣٦٢١ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي خَيْثَمَةَ ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زِمَامٍ الْعَلَّافُ ثنا مَيْمُونُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ ذَكْوَانَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ طَهِّرُوا هَذِهِ الْأَجْسَادَ طَهَّرَكُمُ اللهُ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ بَاتَ طَاهِرًا إِلَّا بَاتَ فِي شِعَارِهِ مَلَكٌ كُلَّمَا تَقَلَّبَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ سَاعَةً قَالَ الْمَلَكُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِعَبْدِكَ كَمَا بَاتَ طَاهِرًا

ذِكْرُ اسْتِغْفَارِ الْمَلَكِ لِلْبَائِتِ مُتَطَهِّرًا عِنْدَ اسْتِيقَاظِهِ

ibnhibban:1051 – Muḥammad b. Ṣāliḥ b. Dharīḥ Biʿukbarā

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever sleeps in a state of purity, an angel will spend the night with him, and the angel will not wake up but say, 'O Allah, forgive Your servant so and so, for he went to sleep in a state of purity.'"  

ابن حبّان:١٠٥١ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ ذَرِيحٍ بِعُكْبَرَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَوَّاسٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ ذَكْوَانَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ * قَالَ

"طَهرُوا هَذهِ الأجْسَاد -طَهَّرَكُمُ اللهُ، فإِنَّهُ لَيسَ عبدٌ يَبيتُ طَاهِرًا إلا بَات مَعَهُ (مَلَكٌ) في شِعَارِهِ لَا يَنْقَلِبُ سَاعَة مِن اللَّيلِ إلا قال: اللَّهُمْ اغْفِر لِعَبْدِكَ، فإِنَّهُ بَاتَ طاهِرًا".
