43. Chapter of Sīn (Female)
[Machine] I was present when Fatimah was in labor and experiencing pain. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and asked, "How is she?" We said, "She is struggling." He said, "When she gives birth, do not precede me in doing anything." She gave birth, and I wrapped the baby in a yellow cloth and cleaned him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and asked, "How is she?" I said, "She has given birth, O Messenger of Allah, and I wrapped the baby in a cloth and cleaned him." He said, "You have disobeyed me." I said, "I seek refuge in Allah from the disobedience of Allah and His Messenger." I cleaned and wrapped the baby, and I could not find anything better than that. He said, "Bring him to me." So I removed the yellow cloth and wrapped him in a white cloth, and he blew into him and dressed him in his own garments. Then Ali came and asked, "What did you name him, O Ali?" He said, "I named him Ja'far, O Messenger of Allah." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No, but his name is Hasan, and after him will be Husayn, and you, O Ali, are the father of goodness."
[Machine] Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, "When it is a Friday, the angels stand at the gate of the mosque and keep on writing the names of the persons coming to the mosque in succession according to their arrivals. The example of the one who enters the mosque in the earliest hour is that of one offering a camel (in sacrifice). The one coming next is like one offering a cow and then a ram and then a chicken and then an egg respectively. When the Imam comes out (for Jumua prayer) they (i.e. angels) fold their papers and listen to the Khutba.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ employed Abu Jahm bin Hudhaifah in distributing the spoils of war, and he hit a man with his bow which caused a wound. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then decided in this case by imposing a penalty of fifteen obligations.
[Machine] I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one day to ask him, and he began to apologize to me while I blamed him. So I attended the noon prayer, then I left until my daughter came in and she was with Shurahbil ibn Hasanah. Then I found Shurahbil in the house, so I started blaming him. He said, "O my daughter, don't blame me, for I had a garment that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ borrowed." So I said, "By my father and mother, I have been blaming him since that day, and this is his current state, and I am not aware."
[Machine] Ali, the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , entered while I was sitting with Hafsah bint Umar. He said, "Why don't you teach Hafsah the recitation of Surah An-Naml as you taught her writing?"
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and a man asked him, "Which actions are the best?" He said, "Belief in Allah, Jihad in the cause of Allah, and performing an accepted Hajj."
[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I want to engage in jihad for the sake of Allah." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Shall I guide you to a jihad that has no thorns in it?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Perform Hajj to the House of Allah."
[Machine] She heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "The best of deeds is belief in Allah, Jihad in the cause of Allah, and a fulfilled pilgrimage."
[Machine] The prophet ﷺ was asked, "Which deeds are the best?" He said, "Belief in Allah, striving in the cause of Allah, and accepted pilgrimage."
[Machine] I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to ask him, but he began to apologize to me, and I blamed him. Then, the prayer was announced, so I left and entered upon my daughter while she was underneath the garment of Shurahbil ibn Hasanah. I found Shurahbil inside the house, so I said, "The prayer has been announced and you are in the house, and I blamed him." He said, "O aunt, do not blame me, for we had a garment that the Prophet ﷺ borrowed." So I said, "By my mother and father, I have been blaming him since that day and this is his situation, and I did not realize." Shurahbil said, "It was nothing but a patched armor."
[Machine] She used to perform ruqyah in the pre-Islamic era, but when Islam came, she said, "I will not perform ruqyah until I seek permission from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." So, I went to him and asked for his permission, and he instructed me saying, "Perform ruqyah as long as it does not involve shirk (associating partners with Allah)."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ entered upon her and there was a woman with her. It is said that her name was "Ash-Shifa" and she was tending to a sick ant. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "Teach her (the ant) Hafsah."
[Machine] It was narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said to his grandmother, "Teach Hafsah your healing remedies."
[Machine] "We saw women among the worshipers offering the obligatory prayers with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."
