28. Chapter of Alif-Lām (Male)
[Machine] Two of my children died, so I said, "O Messenger of Allah, two of my children have died." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever has two children die, Allah will admit him to Paradise by His mercy towards them." Abu Huraira met me and said, "You are the one whom the Messenger of Allah ﷺ informed about the two children?" I said, "Yes." He said, "If he had informed me about it, it would have been more beloved to me than wealth from Palestine."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , was asked, "Is there Zakat on camels?" He said, "No, except for the overwhelming and exceptional verse: 'Whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it.'"
[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, we come to the land of the People of the Book. So I asked him about their utensils, and he said, 'Wash them and then cook in them.'"
[Machine] "He said, 'O Messenger of Allah, write for me land.' He said, 'How can I write it when it is during a state of war?' So he said, 'By the One who has sent you with the truth, I will certainly possess whatever is beneath their feet.' So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was amazed by that, and he looked at his companions and he wrote for him. Then he said, 'O Messenger of Allah, we are in a land of hunting, so what is permissible for us that is prohibited for us?' He said, 'If you send out your trained or hunting dog, and you mention the name of Allah and it takes and kills, then eat. And if you send out your dog that is not trained, then you did not attain its game, so do not eat. And whatever your arrow retrieves for you, then eat.'"
[Machine] He said, "O Messenger of Allah, write for me a land." He said, "How can I write for you a land when it is a land of war?" So he said, "By the One who has sent you with the truth, I swear that you will possess what is beneath their feet." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was amazed by that, so he looked at his companions and wrote for him. Then he said, "O Messenger of Allah, we are in a land of hunting, so what is permissible for us from what is forbidden for us?" He said, "If you send your trained or untrained dog and mention the name of Allah and it catches and kills, then eat. And if you send your dog that is not trained, and you don't know if it catches or not, then eat. And whatever your arrow doesn't return to you, then eat."
[Machine] He said, "O Messenger of Allah, write for me a piece of land." He said, "How can I write it when it is in enemy territory?" So the Messenger of Allah said, "By the One who sent you with the truth, you will possess whatever is beneath their feet." The Messenger of Allah was amazed by that, so he looked at his companions and wrote it for him. Then he said, "O Messenger of Allah, we are in a hunting land, so what is permissible for us to eat of what is forbidden to us?" He said, "If you send your trained or domesticated dog and you mention the name of Allah and it catches and kills, then eat. And if you send your dog that is not trained, then you do not know what it caught, so do not eat. And whatever your arrow brings back to you, then eat."
